    Thank you for this. I was able to order a new screen and digitizer and saved $80, because the cheapest shop wanted $150 to fix it. I got to keep my $800 phone that has everything I love on it.

    The title of your video says "How to remove Note 4 LCD without cracking the display" is misleading. You didn't do what's implied in the video's title. You only showed how to remove the whole display assembly, you did NOT removed the LCD, you simply changed the shield of the LCD which was ripped during the process, applied a new adhesive pad, placed back the stylus digitizer and placed back the display assembly in place. Your video needs a change of title. Good tutorial anyway.

    You have to heat up the screen before removing it, it's much easier that way.

      Walker W how do you heat it up

    • @SlowedAesthege

      Walker W what do you heat it up with? a hair dryer heat gun?

    • @walkerw
      @walkerw 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SlowedAesthege A hairdryer is fine, a heat gun is nice, but you could easily melt the whole phone...

    • @walkerw
      @walkerw 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SlowedAesthege By moving the hairdryer alongside the edge of the screen, around and around untill the screen is quite hot and the glue's beginning to loosen.

    Hopefully someone can help me, long story short: I opened my Note 4 and replaced the power button with a new one but now only the top part of the display is responding to the touch of my finger even though the entire display is still responding to the s-pen.... Any help is welcome! Greetings from Suriname...
