I have an RHPA90S and it is better! But not twice as good. $245 and you get some creaking and some issues. It’s quiet and the lack of ventilation means it has nearly zero wind noise. It’s very flexible, so it stretches out to go on easily. Best helmet I’ve ever had for putting on with glasses. Pinlock visor is extra but available. I think it looks good.
I just got this helmet. I'm not 100% on it. after taking out all the pads to put in the exo-com they don't seem to go back in right. They're pinched up in the back and pull out every time I take the helmet off. the biggest issue I have is that damned sun visor, it's so loose. With every bump in the road it comes down. I don't know if I just got a lemon or what but I'm thinking of returning it.
Personally, the Shark and the LS2 Valiant do modular the best. I have the Valiant 2 and LOOOOVE it. The versatility is great, even if it's a bit heavier (I don't notice) and not as quiet as a full face.
Hi . I ride a cruser, and I've had this helmet for about nine months, using as an open face with peak and without. Personally I prefer to ride with the peak fitted, there are quite a few advantages. Riding rural, you don't get so many flies in your face, yet the shape of the peak, doesn't catch the wind until speed increases above 55mph, so the unusual shape, apears to relive air pressure. Also the peak is very useful when the Sun is low. Hope this helps.
Same advantages to wearing a hat. Keeps low sun out of your eyes, can also use it to block sun glare to see traffic signals more clearly. I won't buy a helmet without a peak, and I'm 100% street
I have the GT 3000, it's being discontinued, needing a replacement, I like the modular design, however don't need the TRANSFORMER model...Does scorpion make a regular modular?
Checks a lot of my boxes, but no ratcheting chin strap is a no go. Now that I've used one, I can't ever go back to a loop strap. Not really sure why anybody is even still using loop straps.

I bought the matte black, high-vis model. Sending it back to the manufacturer. Exceptionally poor craftsmanship. Constantly creaks when riding, and the neck collar actually comes out of its seating when removing the helmet. Does not fasten into place so liner has to be tucked back in after removing the helmet from your head. Good design, but poorly executed. I’ll be getting something else not a Scorpion helmet.
Just got mine in the mail, complete trash quality. Drop down sun visor hits my big Italian nose and doesnt click in at all and will drop down if you shake the helmet.
@@toddbelz1074 Those are premium made helmets that a lot of people either can't or won't buy just on cost alone. There are plenty of quality companies that make very good lids and at prices most can afford. HJC, Scorpion, Bell, to name a few. Being the most expensive doesn't always equate to quality.

I have it for a month now, and now the sun visor doesn't hold up anymore. Even a slight bump on the road and it comes down.
Some of them has issues with the sunglasses. They go down if the road shakes you.

I wanted a valiant but didn't fit my head well even though they are supposed to have the same shape and the exo is really comfortable
Is there a practical reason for the peak visor? I think it looks better without it (in 3/4 mode)

Because the double d loop strap is the best and safest you can get.

Once Owned a scorpion helmet---didn't think much of its quality. Never again
