I live in vancouver and just bought the adventure model to use off my boat when cruising the pacific west coast. With taxes and shipping, almost $20,000.00 canadian $ but very well engineered and an absolute blast to ride. Very short learning curve, once you are standing and in the straps you can handle fairly big waves . I water ski, windsurf and snowboard so very similar experience. By the way I’m 74 years old.
It's a long time since I follow with interest your project. I have also written for more information. Unfortunately for me the price is high, but it would be great to have a jetsurf here in Italy on Lake Como. You do not have the models used or exposure at a reasonable price? Thanks
Service and repairs? Does the owner need to send it to you in the Czech republic? i assume this would cost shipping and your service or repair costs,.... thats about 1000$ for one way ticket and 2000$ for returning it. And has anyone information on how often these motors break down ?....
* bought it on ebay .combustion engine so far good maintenance free is like a small car .oil changed syntetic .and premium gas.if you have any issue anyone who fix Lawn Mower or mechanic will fix it no expensive parts at all
You have a good point. We are based in the UK and it is not ideal having the only factory for repairs and parts based in the Czech Republic. Maintenance you learn to do yourself but spares and repairs are a problem and its not only the cost of shipping but the time factor is a bigger problem. If your board breaks you could loose it for the summer season.
Excuse me, given the hypothetical case the board turns itself over, what stops water from coming inside the engine chamber?? let's say through the air intake
You should have built the thing to make money. its over engineered. You built the thing like a formula 1 race car. How many people have one of those? Make it cheaper and expand your market ive never herd of one of these. And considering the price i know why. For the price id rather have a jetski that's faster less fatiguing and cheaper.
Justin you have a good point and yes it is the water version of a formula 1 race car. Unless you plan on racing or traveling a lot with it I would say it is completely over engineered and over priced. Having said that when you get to own or ride one you will appreciate the design, engineering, time and money that went into creating and achieving this. It is a beautiful Machine. As Ben mentioned there are loads of cheaper products but cheaper for good reason like weight, build quality and so much more.

Plenty new products are on there way but at the moment the cheap boards look, respond and operate just like a cheap board would.
