  • If you refuse to open your third eye with the sense I detail in the video, here are some more regular sensitivities to try:
    17, .7 (fun for shotty)
    14, .7 (I used to snipe on this)
    10, .8 (If you're just getting into D2)
    5 year old Jez vid I referenced because He's funnier than me:

    this guy is underrated. id love just to be coached by him even though he's a controller player. his sense of humor is without a doubt hilarious. even with this his unreasonably understandable deconstructions of plays and different stuff gets me intrigued

    You are spot on with the sensitivity acceleration scaler. I have been playing for a long time and am most comfortable on 12 sens with a 0.8 ads multiplier. I can do everything with fair ease at the cost of maneuverability. Although I did use to run 20 sens before I upgraded to the Xbox series x

      You ran 20 sens on a fov capped at 65?

    Im 50/50 on this, I think for shotgunning it definitely applies but for sniping there’s a lot more wiggle room, since most of the best sniper players run

    • @KnownAsSys
      @KnownAsSys  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah, I can agree with this. Sniping in itself allows much more player expression than arguably anything else in D2 besides maybe buildcrafting.

      i've hit some hilarious clips with just muscle memory. if i saw them, i'd think i was cheating kind of clips. one time i was ads in a lane with a sniper, started getting hit from the back, and i knew i didn't have time to properly aim my gun, so i just flicked 180 degrees and hit a headshot somehow. that guy was probably so pissed.

    Bruh i already run this. But i have an xbox elite controler where i can customize the ease at which i push the joistick, so i just set my hip sensitivity to 20 and make my joistick sensetivity as low as posible.

    Would you recommend using this with weapons like the BXR or Forerunner? I'm just getting into Destiny 2 as a newb, but I used to play Halo and I like the idea of being able to hipfire people like in that game versus D2's most weapons relying on aiming down sights. But this demon sense sacrifices hip fire accuracy in exchange for regular aim-down accuracy.
    What would you say would be the 'Demon Sense' for such weapons? And is it even worth it to use such weapons compared to regular ones? Thanks in advance.

    • @KnownAsSys
      @KnownAsSys  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you're looking for hip-fire consistency similar to halo the only gun with that capability is The Last Word. Anything else is still going to sacrifice a large amount of aim assist and consistency for hip-fire accuracy.
      You also lose range due to zoom actually extending how far a weapon can shoot when aimed down sights. That being said, TLW is a very strong weapon so if you were to main it I'd suggest a sense like ~7 or so.

      @@KnownAsSys Damn, that's sort of a shame since I was hoping for some Halo-tier gameplay.
      In that case, would you recommend using the BXR in general? I understand losing some hipfire accuracy in exchange for overall utility with this Demon Sense, but honestly as a new player I'm not even sure where to begin with D2 PvP, and frankly I don't even know what sens, FoV and controller layout I should even be running, let alone what weapon.
      Any advice would be appreciated, though it's cool if you're busy. Thanks for the reply btw, I've heard TLW get recommended and it seems cool

      @@nostalgicactuator8448 BxR is definitely a good weapon for beginners as its ttk is very forgiving. As for settings advice: 105 FoV is the best, and for sense you should try something like 8-10 with .8 ads. Once you get better I'd suggest trying 14, .7 ads, and then finally 20, .5 once you can handle it. For controls it's mostly preference, but I'd suggest using a layout that lets you jump and aim at the same time. Glad I can be of help.

    Pretty sure its already been proven that sensitivity beyond i think like 14 or something doesnt increase your turn speed, just the time it takes to reach maximum turn speed. Not only that, i think its still just down to practice and muscle memory, i run 1.1 ads modifier and i snipe just fine with 15 sens

    Nice, I use 10/.8 and it feels slow now, been testing all up to 16 with .5 and you get some crazy riticle stickiness if you mostly strafe, (left stick aim like in Halo) BUT when people move fast from side to side it feels very "sluggish".
    I switched my elite series 2 right stick to instant and that solved that problem but now it doesn't feel as accurate (is not that bad) then after few days of testing in the acceleration curve (also in right stick) just decreased the bar by 1 point (moved to the left) and that is feeling better, need to test your 20/.5 advice.
    That's takes me to my question: Wich controller do you use? I use and elite series 2 with a high Rick stick and and max tension.
