Thank you for this review! I was looking to get a GSG 522 and found out this 16 recently came out. After your review I think I'm leaning toward the GSG 16. Thank you!
I had one of the old GSG-5 MP5's. It was built pretty well other than the cheesy lawsuit plastic sights. But I only shot it a few times before getting the Walther HK MP5/.22.
I have had two of these, one being the fixed stock version, and the other being the SD version. The controls are a great match for the real MP-5 in size, location, and function. I sold both of them though. Not because I did not enjoy them. I just have like...5 or so semi-auto .22 rifles and I really do not need that many....I just kept finding good deals and figured I could always make a profit selling them later, which I did.
@@TheTeehee11111 Sorry for being years behind, but I never got your reply till now. No I just got such a good deal on them to start with, that selling for still below normal price turned a profit. I was not worried about getting rich off the sales, so I could pass good savings onto other people.

@@evoben24 Sweet that's good to hear. I think I'll pick up the GSG 15 and just buy a cheap amazon red dot for it. I'll be sure to run CCI Stingers through it for the first 500 rounds or so.
