Root is one of the most approachable and friendly pro-racers out there. I rarely approach pro-racers with questions after witnessing a tantrum by Martin Hudy, yes I said it and it should be well noted, but Frank is the nicest guy I ever dared to talk shop with... and he is extremely knowledgible. Cheers to Frank.
Really? I recently thought the exact opposite at the West Coast Dirt Oval Nationals. I thought he was a horrible ambassador for the sport. While the Traxxas Modified A-main was getting started they were having issues getting a clean start. I was standing next to the corner Root was marshaling. He walked over to me and said “oh the Traxxas guys are having a tough time getting started, go figure” He then proceeded to cackle like a rabid hyena every time someone made a mistake. For someone who is a sponsored driver and representative of the company, I thought that was pretty lame. Also anyone who laughs like this guys does, has no place making fun of anyone else.
ayo anyone from tlr ever made a video on proper shock oil filling and cleaning etc ?? like a good detailed one ? started practicing to race w my 8IGHT-X Elite and have to dump the oil out of them already after 2 days of practice on the track but today I dumped the oil out wiped the inside clean the oil was a lil foggy and had some tiny bubble action but I filled them back w 37 in front and 32 in back and let them sit so the bubbles clear but would like to know for sure proper way to do this let me know asap thanks
Not exactly happy with this video....your checking ride height in the center in the rear of the car which is great for the rear, problem is your checking the front ride height from only one of the sides in the front...you should be using that ride height gauge on both sides to reassure your even with the adjustments of the shocks and to make sure your ride height is even side to side...not a very good educational video coming from a so called “pro” team driver...
im watching this and a few other videos of yours while i tune my classic losi xxx-sct for the 2023 season.
Great video! You covered all of the bases! Very clear, concise and easy to understand. Thank you

Lots of info for buggy. Could you either also include specs/info for Stadium Truck or do a separate video for it? Thanks!
