Sustainable mechanically organic Nasir Saabs work is experiential...experimental...he plays with the environment.materials and structures... incorporating painstaking detail..evolving sense of scale...testing his abilities to the fullest as the master craftsmen architect...hats off...

It was a delight to watch both spaces the architect is brilliant. Love the elevation of the home, the fact there is no boundary wall is special. The materials used are wonderful, landscaping, window finishings, lighting, wall cladding, and flooring, steps are fantastic. Harmony and serenity are felt throughout the home, I loved all the marvelous details in the house especially the tread outside the entrance to the office,
Thank you Mariam and Omer for an educational tour!

saw some comments about how this house needed to be more minimalistic but the thing is that the house owner chose it to be so busy but i respect opinions. i personally like this everyone now'days is too minimalistic i sorta got tired of it so i like it. The way he uses reflections in the house is amazing this is unique and when someone enters he can feel the difference. However the house does come with its flaws i think the roof heights can become a problem for comfort and some rooms have too much material with not alot of balance.

looks more like a commercial space. not a house for sure. the appreciation by the two reviewing architects looks forced and even contrary to the spaces they were commenting upon. even for a commercial enterprise it looks a bit too crammed.

Not visually balanced and very over crowded, i think architects and future architects should learn how to make a space workable and liveable at the same time without over complexing things and without bringing concept out of every thing .. sometimes you just have to use the things the way they are. Over use of materials will result in this kind of house

  • @nzrsiddiqui

Nice outside-in, inside-out home, the exposed fair face walls look brutally simple, the constant repetition of wooden trellis looks intriguing and practical as a screen too.
The best thing about this home is there is no boundary walls to block the views, a home in a garden vibes than a garden in a home.
At places I don't like the shiny floor tiles...a slate, terracotta would have been fine.
Overall a nice simple and sophisticated abode.

You people showing This kind of stuff just for elite class to catch more clients.i have an argument on it,,, what are you doing for middle class and facilitate them because these kind of videos is just a fantasy for them nothing else.

    • @Banjaiga

we are not dividing into classes sir, we are promoting architecture of Pakistan so that middle class can design their spaces architecturally.

ufff how cannu admire this place. its so crammed up no room to move i guess. and too much use of woood and bamboo,, in garden where the swing is placed , bamboos are not evenly placed.. ufff i dont like any thing about this house.. even sanding on the road it feels like trees need trimming.

    • @Banjaiga
      @Banjaiga  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

basically this house is owned by architect himself and it's almost 12 years old. Nasir sb likes to be places like this.
so, yeah only purpose of our this initiative is to give feedbacks either it's appreciation or criticism. this will help the industry to different aspects of each design.

@@Banjaiga i do understand and i didnt mean to criticize any one but as a design student ,i shared my views, it might did sound harsh, and i beg yr pardon .
on tje other hand your statement is quiet understandable. i believe in minimalism. less is more . but thanks for yr respond too.

Hate it when a man cuts a woman short to assert himself, and doesnt listen attentively to a woman to let her finish. Leaves such a bad taste! Very bad conversation style of Pakistani men in particular, and South Asian men in general!
