So many thoughts about this video. So glad the shaft seal works. Amazed at all the birds you get to see. You need a birders list. Jenn is looking more relaxed with each episode. Someone needs to make an app that tells all the open hours of places on the loop. The camera work and editing of this one was beyond good. Dingy practice was funny!
Watching this brings back great memories of Reedville that day. We were told by a local that you could “starve to death on Mondays in Reedville but you found that great restaurant that was open. You proved him wrong. The Redemption is now near Mackinac Island…….trust our paths will cross again in the future. We love your videos! Joyce on the Redemption
Hey Joyce! Awesome, glad you enjoyed this one! It was such a beautiful stop 😁 Our paths will definitely meet again, hope you enjoy Mackinac Island! We will be starting the Trent Severn in a few days!
So glad the effort to fix the leak was a success, perseverance paid off. Great job switching roles & communicating. Nothing like Chesapeake crab .. I drive from Ohio to Annapolis for deliciousness when not on travelling on my boat. Hope you enjoy perch in the Great Lakes!
The large fishing boats you saw around Reedville were part of the Menhaden fleet. Part of a dwindling industry but a large local employer for folks. Menhaden, a very oily fish, are not usually eaten by humans; but used in other products. I have seen the Reedville fleet in the Bay and off the coast of North Carolina. Nice video, thanks.
I appreciate y’all’s consideration of each other re weather and seas. Back when I had my big boat , I’m afraid that I was not that considerate of my darling wife (Linda), and I regret that.
Great video…loved the drone shots of Reedville…such a beautiful town! I really enjoy seeing all the small towns. So glad your leak has been fixed…one less thing to worry about. As usual, great teamwork! Can’t forget to mention those fries…love me some fries! Safe travels!
Great to see the smiles back, I'm envious of your warm weather, -3c and snow to down to 300 mtrs this morning in historic ole "Sno"bart, stay safe fair winds. Very pretty area you are in.
@@SchoandJo , I do hope that they looked after you, I trust you will enjoy Canada, they are similar to us Aussies in many ways, I have a cousin who lives in B.C. . One gets acclimatised to the cold so all's good, keep on keeping on, and I look forward to your next vlog, stay safe.xx
@@SchoandJo Hi! Dennis and Sharon here on MV Saltie. Met you at Winter Harbor in Brewerton, NY. Just curious, where did you enter Canada, and how was your Lake Ontario crossing?
Trading tasks on a boat is good practice, you both did very well, confidence booster all around. Always love your food/eating clips. Excellent drone footage and shots of rays. Your smiles are a plus. More hugs for Ollie from Lady and Angel. Aloha!
I’m behind on watching your videos but finally starting to catch up. You guys have such a great eye for cinematography. I am so impressed with the quality and thoughtfulness of each video. Keep up the great work!
Reedville looks like a nice peaceful laid-back town to drop the anchor. Glad you got your leaks all fixed. Wow...I had a grilled cheese sandwich and fries for lunch yesterday. :-)
@@cproducer cool! Not sure when we’ll get around to putting it in a video but we use the DJI Air 2S and normally take off from my hand off the aft deck on the boat! We prefer to take off from land when possible though, it makes everything much easier 😁😁
Do most small towns shut down on Mondays? I appreciate retail places that give employees a weekend off. Or at least one day and that seems to make sense since the weekend at the shore is probably busier. Congrats on the no leak!
I think most of these towns were closed Monday-Thursday mainly because they don't get enough traffic, especially because we were visiting in the fringe season. Totally agree about employees getting time off!
Maybe like .1 or .2 less? We never calculated exactly it because it is really hard to tell that level of detail on our boat (i.e. our fuel is measured by just sight guages). I bet if we had some digital gauges and measurements, we could tell. Definitely not a dumb question!

Interesting little town with an interesting history.

Nothing beats it! We got a little "crabbed out" while staying on the Eastern Shore all of last fall but it is a treat 😁 Cheers!

Whoa!! That’s cold! We have been thinking about Australia lately since we just got into Canada in real time. Had an Aussie barista today!

Thanks so much Thomas! We are very much looking forward to it 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Great job switching roles today 👏🏻. Such beautiful scenery 😍.
Thanks Susan! The Chesapeake really is gorgeous 😁

Haha nice T Mac 🤙 It was a super peaceful anchorage - thanks for watching!
Glad you got your leak fixed up not surprised that you could fix it.
Thanks Phillip! So happy it worked out!
Good work capturing the cow nose rays on video. Good job on the repair. Great video as always.
Thanks so much! There were tons of rays - it was pretty incredible!
Those stingrays are actually skates. Common by the millions in May/June.
Crazy! Thanks for sharing 😁
Subscribers and views are going UP!
Bit by bit!! Thanks for watching 😁
Another victory!!
🎉💯
You guys are the best! Can you show sometime your drone operation?
Sure! Anything in particular you want to see? When I fly the drone most of the time its pretty boring unless I am trying to catch it on the boat 😁
@@SchoandJo Nothing in particular. I'm sure anything you show will be good. What's your equipment, how you launch, etc. Thanks!

Reedville is nice. Just as long as you're upwind of the fish processing plant!
1,000% agree!
If that water made you uncomfortable, what will you do when you get to the Great Lakes or even Delaware bay?
Be more uncomfortable 😁
Oops meant say that it's nice when something named dripless does not DRIP !!!
Wouldn't that be nice haha
Almost enough to stop watching this channel that you went to Reedville and got a grilled cheese. Bahahahaha I’m kidding. Lol
😂😂😂 haha when you live every day around seafood sometimes you want a good old fashioned grilled cheese

You ever figure out how that boot drew up ?
As of now, we just think it loosened over time and slipped! Still keeping an eye on it though

Nope, wasn’t too bad! Just entering and then it was all fine 😁
Crab meat is not a veggie. I'm confused 🤔
While we eat a plant-based diet, rarely we will flex with seafood.
