Anyone else would want the Reapers to visit the kett? To see how a 'higher' species would deal with them? Hehehe...Then again....Do we really want kett husks swarming Andromeda?
Personally I think the reapers couldn't do much in the Heleus cluster. The scourge is basically a minefield that actively hunts down remnant tech. Some remnant tech looks kinda familiar to me. These black artifacts with glowing lines on them.. Reapers do at least have a similiar taste. Just look for exsample at that reaper artifact from Mass Effect 2: Arrival.. Somehow I get the feeling that there is some sort of connection between the Remnant creators and these reapers. And if there is a connection it is likely, that the scourge will specificly target Reapers, once they arrive in Helius. I don't think reapers "slept" for 50.000 years after every cycle. Maybe they visited Andromeda as well.. and someone there created the scourge to fend them off.
i doubt the reapers didnt notice the arks drifting through dark space. maybe they sent one to follow them and it may have escaped whatever happened at the end of ME3 due to being out of range of the crucible
Holy shit. I think most people would think the Archon is the Kett leader. I think we have an explanation for the basis of this if it's another potential trilogy.
Orders? Huh, okay, so Archon was always just an ambitious military commander. That's kinda cool, means there's gonna be more to the Kett, and i really disliked the Archon himself. Knowing he wasn't the kett ruler makes them significantly better in my eyes.
He is nothing more than a power hungry high ranking military commander. All i want is full out war with the kett... just imagine something like ME3 military strength but with consequences, the more you have the stronger you are... AND THE BIGGER THE BATTLE :D
AirWolf2301 The Andromeda Initiative wouldnt survive anything close to a full-scale war, though :D all they have are their arks, and there's no way in hell they can get the fleet production going fast, this shit takes a ton of resources. (inb4 last-minute save from Shepard-controlled Reapers)
Volthoom you can find logs from a kett scientist that the archon is blocking transmissions out of the cluster it also mentioned the kett empire and a Senate.
Man... if only there where some reapers in Andromeda to cleans the galaxy of the douche bags known as kett. that would show them... and us. Wait. never mind.
Yeah I mean the Kett are always harvesting other species, so what if we came up with something to harvest them first and also kill everyone? And we'll do it over and over again just to be safe. Problem solved! Wait. Never mind. That actually makes no sense.
I'll be honest, when I heard the Cardinal referred to as a "she," I got super confused. I had been reading the Kett as monogender, sort of like a vaguely masculine asari thing going on, just with cloning and exaltation in place of mind-sex. So, after that, every time the Primus came on screen, I kept getting distracted thinking, "So... that thing is female?"
I don't understand how a Kett could be female. They reproduce entirely through genetically tailoring captured slaves. Actual Kett otherwise have no need for sexual dimorphism. Would they even perceive themselves as male or female?
I think this is definitely setting the game up for a sequel. I personally chose to decline. I figure that the infighting will take care of itself and divide them, keep them in chaos. Fuck the Kett honestly. I was hoping they'd have a reason, like how the Krogan have the genophage, maybe their species is dying and they'd not be unempathetic assholes once you found out more. But nope. Fuck em. However, I think that once this game is over, there'll be a sequel involving the Kett again. Maybe the Protheans? Idk it would be cool.
There's one weird thing to all this. From what i've heard, the Remnant vaults date roughly 350-400 years back, which is...not long at all by space standarts. From this dialogue it's clear that the Remnant isn't present only in Heleus, but is spread throughout Andromeda. So, are all Remnant sites this recent? If they are so recent, are the Kett even younger? They clearly never met the Remnant's creators.
Reckoning Could be entirely possible actually, good thinking. The Kett, as the dialogue in the game suggests, control their evolution through exaltation for a long time now, so yeah, maybe they conquered their own cluster and then started to expand. Haha, yeah, if the Initiative is successfully kicking Archon's ass, it's hard to imagine the Kett measure up to the current-cycle Milky Way species - let alone the Protheans, or, hell, the Reapers :D.
Well in all the game we can read Kett messages who said they don't really like following the Archon anymore ''cause he's obsseded by the "relics" or whatever it is in english and leave behind his job of exaltation.
I liked the offer, but knowing how consequences usually work in BioWare games, I’m pretty sure in Andromeda 2 or 3 our little deal with Kett would be exposed and Ryder would be booed publicly. I wish there was Andromeda 2 or 3 😞
A regular "deal with the devil". Sounds like you make this remnant easier to acquire, but at the cost of Kett no longer deviding forces from the focus of exaltation. Go with the plan and they can take a whole colony over night? Especially if the base wasn't destroyed? Or reject the offer and save what few remaining Angara colonies, and hope they don't get the mysterious power? Or am I overthinking ...
Puts everything into perspective. The Kett are an enemy but a certain race/beings may return in the future and we may be looking at a 3 way race for control. The Kett have a massive numerical advantage. I just wonder, where they are?
Xi it also sounds like the rest of andromeda is in the same boat as this cluster. They say they have exalted many different races. Just how many kett are out there. Kinda scary considering how little of the Milky Way races are there.
Lol i did this after assaulting the meridian station thing and literally i got past the first dialogue and it was like goodbye pathfinder we will not speak again i was like i didn't even get a choice
Andromeda has the potential to push for a trilogy to be great they just can't rush and make the same mistakes if they do make a sequel. Also wouldn't mind playing as the kett.
Corypheus actually had a bit of character development and put up a good fight. The Archon was a flat character so vile I think the writers used him as an outlet for some personal prejudices.
Is it true you can get the code, but choose to save it for later instead of using it? Thus completely duping Primus into giving you a trump card for future use?
