After the operation she has lost a lot of the effortlessness and flexibility in belting out notes that's showcased in great early performances like this one. After the operation she has lost a lot of the effortlessness and flexibility in belting out notes that's showcased in great early performances like this one. The tone has chance top, becoming a bit lower and sometimes rougher. Don't know if it's a change for the better, depends on your personal preference, what's sire is that some of the (brilliant, and damaging for her voice) harmonizations she once did are impossibile now, so that's an objective loss. There however is one thing that has improved, and a lot: the technique. She has much more control now, the notes much smoother.
