Given when this was made, this was one of the best sci fi movies ever made. Do yourself a favor and get a copy and see it. Puts so many of today's 'creature features' to shame. Great 3D rendering of the spacecraft, and thanks for including an animated Robbie the Robot, too.!
Wow these are amazing, my favourite movie of all time. I have a Robbie robot I bought from japan that I have kept like new for years. Saw your prints on red bubble…fantastic.😀👍❤️
The movie industry really needs to make a remake of this movie, since we're in the age of remaking past movies, not that the original wasn't fantastic!
At first I was saddened by that, too, then I realized he was destroyed by the creature while trying to defend the house. Made me really sad to see this, although it's very well done. Sad because there was so much humanity could have learned technologically. But, then, the species that left that T behind destroyed themselves overnight with the darkness inside that they had forgotten or overlooked. Maybe someday, we will advance spiritually as much as we have advanced technologically. There's always hope, right?
I love the original film but from my standpoint there is only one thing wrong with it. The spaceship is too small. For the crew to all fit in the thing and at least have somewhere to store the weapons and the chariot it needs to be twice the size. Likewise if you think about the needs of a crew during travel where are you going to put the food and the changes of clothes! And how small would you think you could shrink the power source to get out to Altair 4?
And along came Dr. Who only a few years later and solved that problem! I watched it as a little boy in the early 60's in glorious black and white on our own TV that took a minute to warm the tubes up before there was any picture. That was in southern England which at the time was the centre of the world for TV and music. Those were the days...
This Fantastic movie was way ahead of it's time (1956) one of the finest sci fi movies I have ever seen. A must see for any sci fi fan.😊

It was Gene's inspiration for Star Trek !
One of the best movie of the 50s all my youth wishing you a great day
Wasn't it great to be a kid in the 50's, and a teen in the 60's ? All but for that Viet Nam war.
@@caddothegreat I completely agree with you, wishing you a great day
Saw this movie for the first time when I was 7 and I still love it
Absolutely stunning guys! You've done the original movie very proud! Many, many thanks!
Very cool. I always admired the subtle aspect of this ship, that it isn't "aliens in flying saucer," the ones with flying saucers are us.
A very nice rendition of C-57D takeoff. Wonderful detail in the CGI.
The sound effect seemed to convey the immense amount of power of the "hyperdrive" as well.

WOW! That just took my breath away! What a labor of love! Thank you!
It was also the first sci-fi movie to spend over a million dollars in its budget 😮
Hollywood is talking about a remake of this movie! NO NO NO. If they do this, I will never go see anything in a theater ever again. This is sacrilege!

Judging by some of the remakes I have had the misfortune to watch the movie industry should leave this classic alone.
35 years ahead of it's time
Outstanding work!👍🤖
Magnificent Job! Well Done !😊
Beautiful. FB was ahead of its time.
It’s been us from the future all along
Love Flick!!! Thanks!!!
So AWESOME, but you have to go back, you forgot Robbie the Robot !!
Really cool
Very nice! Do more!!!
I thought that the number was "THX -- 1138".

Nice.
You left Robbie behind.

The ships are tardisian in proportion.
