That's the Mr Mistoffles energy I remember when I saw Cats in '93. I've seen some lackluster since then. Good technique but no playful energy. Matt, you were AMAZING and brought the energy the part needs and deserves!
This is so much better than the current Cats tour that's going around the US in 2022... There was nothing magical about that Mr Mistoffeles, he didn't do ANY TURNS
I think there will definitely be some productions once theatres re-open; they made a Cats movie after all so I don’t think the productions will end soon :DD
One of the best performances of this solo and this talented dancer is stuck on a damn cruise ship. :/ Oh well, I bet this pays really well.
