Crime will never be suppressed most especially in SA because the peoplle who conducts it are left idle. Prisoners might be in possession of contraband but wardens are the ones who makes it possible, so for as long as there are wardens who work with prisoners, there will be contraband
this is just a waste of time and resources coz some of these officers are accomplice in this they are deeply involved and they benefit from it big time

My assumption is that the prison cells have wall sockets that will allow prisoners to charge their phones. Should they get rid of the wall sockets i think it could eliminate the risk of inmates having cellphones
