Hi Ah Pa, this dish looks so delicious!
You mention that the cooking time of fuzhuk differs, depending on the brand. It's trial and error. Question: I assume that when I 'undercook' fuzhuk it will be tough or chewy to eat. But when I 'overcook' fuzhuk, does it do any harm? In other words, if I have a brand that needs only 10 minutes cooking time, is it a problem if I cook it 20-30 minutes? Will it become so soft that it breaks down in small pieces or something like that? If not, then I can always cook the fuzhuk for 30 minutes to be on the safe side.

Use the rice cooker to cook green beans. Water level 1 inch above the beans in the rice cooker. Once the steam happens, press to keep warm. Check the texture of the beans. If not softened to your taste, add a bit water if necessary and cook again.
