It wasn't overthrown by England. Britannia is an empire that contains the Americas and Japan. The UK is in the EU. Don't ask me why it's called Britannia; the name can be very misleading.

its based on a show called Death Note, if you like sitcoms like CSI, or detective movies, i definitely think youll at least enjoy it. The song is based off of the character the main character finds who feels she has a huge debt to pay to him, and she literally says he can use her and even kill her, if he only lets her help him. The rest of the song will make sense if you watch the show ^^
