  • In this video I share my experience with these tires. I purchased them from the tire rack and had a local suspension shop install them. I love them and will buy them again. Quiet, good ride, great wear. Very aggressive looking compared to the noise. Really amazing. These are the higher load spec version and the ride is stiff, but not in any way bad. I love the way the tires let you feel the road. There is zero slump between the road and rim. The tire stands very tall. I hope you enjoy this video. If you do please subscribe and like the video. I appreciate your views and comments.

    My brother once put Yokohamas on his 8 ton truck ( south afrika). He got 100 k kilometers out of them. He have them retreaded and they did another 50ooo kilometers.
    Yokohama has always been a good tyre.

    The little circle stenciled on the sidewall by the bead is supposed to line up with the valve stem to aid in balancing.

    best tire I have owned for my 250. Handles loads better than any AT tire it replaced. Cleans out excellent in the mud, quiet and long lasting especially for the abuse I put it through. The wear is very even and nochange from the souths summer heat to driving up north in the snow. I will get more than 40k miles on these vs my BFG's, Nittos, and Toyos that they replaced.

  • @RoyFJ65

    They are very good all rounders like their other tire MT G003. They handle all terrains with least drama and for an aggressive AT they are relatively quiet long lasting and best of all they handle in the rain.

    I have these tires and they are VERY awesome!! 37X13.5X17. They are very quiet on-road and aggressive off-road. I ran Yokohamas on my big rig for almost 20 years and they did not once fail me. They make an outstanding tire. Buy these you will not be disappointed in the performance.

      @bobbygfl  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@marcossandoval7370 I just bought another set for my daughters jeep. These tires are my absolute favorite. Although they are a heavy tire there is virtually no road noise the wear is great and I have not experienced any noticeable gas mileage issue.

      @@bobbygfl thank you, does your truck feel sluggish or like it needs to be regeared? Also how is the ride since it's E rated? Does it beat you up going down the road. I appreciate your input.

    • @bobbygfl
      @bobbygfl  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@marcossandoval7370 the acceleration is the same. Does not feel sluggish at all. Even when towing. No change. It is not a rough ride. My daughters jeep is a rougher ride and it’s stock. That said it feels stiffer. The side walls are stiff so turning or going around turns there is little role and you feel that. Also little bumps like road reflectors you feel more. Hope that helps.

    I'm looking at these or the ridge grapplers. I was a little surprised that the salesman had said that Yokohamas do not hold up here in Southern New Mexico's heat even though he was not familiar with the x-at. Must be sitting on something else he's going to push once my wheels arrive.
    Anyone else heard about the x-at being sensitive to 100 degree weather?

    • @jcarry5214
      @jcarry5214 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I live in Utah and I'm running Yoko g015 and have almost no complaints, just the big rig whine and the looks. I haven't had them through a full summer yet but what I've seen makes me really skeptical of what that guy's saying. granted, Mine's a different, older tire. Having said that, Andrew st. pierre-white says that the brand was know for not holding up in Africa, but he admits that was years ago.
      Side note, I recommend his channel.

      Tinely Tire in Deming sold me a set and they never said anything about the heat. I bounced around the Florida's and Tres Hermana's for a couple of months and then drove back east before it got hot BUT, I am getting terrible wear out of them. I checked the tread left and with 9000 miles on them they are about as worn as a set of Duratracs that have about 25000.
