theres something curious I want to ask, so I started making content 2 years ago and basically every reel I uploaded got over 50k views and some of them had millions (I got more than 80k followers in like 4/5 months) then I got busy and I stopped posting until November that I decided to come back, since that barely get to 2k views per reel and every day I lose like 50 followers daily, however I decided top create a new account and I'm posting the SAME content and I am getting more views and engagement in the new account, should I just continue with the new account and delete the old one? or what would you guys do and why is Instagram only pushes the content of new accounts only?
Well I got dinged for Memes and my account was flagged for hurtful content even though it was someone else's Meme which is still up. It made me think about any Meme and even cartoon ones. That account still has a warning and is almost 60K in followers.
For three years my reach has dropped by 10-40% per month. I got nerfed for a year for posting a piece of art I made and it never recovered. My followers kept growing and I currently sit at 18.8k. However my reach is still nothing. Do these situations ever recover or should I make a new account?
I am a trans creator on Insta and all of a sudden my reach went to zero. I use to get 95% of my views via hashtags from non-followers, now I get nothing from hashtags and my reach to non-followers dropped to 10%. I am not sure if this is the result of algorithm changes or if I am getting shadow banned.
He has spoken about hashtags a lot in his recent videos. Basically they don't do much anymore and if you use too many or the same ones it might flag you as spammy.

So I can see that truth has been shifting a lot. Just like the fact that there is a debate about whether there is 2 or more genders is insane!

Not sure what you’re complaining about. There will never be an app that won’t feature low quality garbage. Doesn’t mean that there’s not a whole load of accounts with amazing content. Especially within the human Mande graphic design/ illustration niches you can find epic stuff.
Finally no more facebook jail for people. I have so many friends who've been punished during covid because they were sharing medications that were working for it and also the side effects of covid's vaccine, which was just confessed by Zuck on Joe Rogan podcast. He had to censure these subjects and put the account who posted it on FB jail.
Good rant. But the hate and misogyny on X has become intolerable. Also reach, etc for non-digital artists has been dropping for the past few years. AI is going to be the nail in the coffin for these artists. META is just looking to cut costs. I’m leaving. It’s become a waste of time.
I don't think you should despair. People are already so sick of AI art. In the emerging "meaning economy," the human touch will be even more valuable imo.

hashtags have died in the past months. The strategy behind using it now is for SEO purposes.

This is bad tbh because now truth isn't truth anymore but the majority's opinion
