  • Here is an overview of the auto park feature in the Haval H6 ultra four-wheel-drive. This allows the car to automatically find a parking spot and reversed into that spot automatically without any user input. It has full control of the steering wheel, brakes and accelerator.

Truly amazing especially since it detects blank spaces too and does not need 2 cars with a space in between. Only recently do Audis, Mercedes and BMWs have it. Tesla does not even have it where it looks at blank spaces. You would think Haval maybe used after market cameras but even these cameras are well designed and shows where the car will be since it has to be adapted to that specific car. They continue to amaze. The premium manufacturers no longer have technology as a trump card. There is no excuse for other cars to be so expensive.

Yes but that’s the power of the Brand, it’s not about technology unfortunately. Brands will always be fireproof , irregardless of whether the Chinese brand is actually better or not. I do like this car and we might actually get one but if I was a gazillionnare I’d get a Porsche or Ferrari or Bentley etc just cause ..

Great video - thanks. One thing I don’t recommend, is doing a reverse parallel park, behind a Ute. Unfortunately the trays are too high up, above the sensors, so the car takes the tyres as the furtherest back point of the car you’re parking behind, and the risk is very real that the bonnet will scrape on the Ute tray as the car swings in. Thankfully this hasn’t happened to me, but there was a very close call (the first time I parked behind a Ute) and then I tested my theory behind another Ute, different day, and was another close call. It’s almost like there needs to be a sensor up high on the bonnet or even in the quarter panels above the front tyres.

Another thing we have picked up the adaptive cruise control is horrendous. On a beautiful open we'll marked highway the car brakes down to 85Km/h from 120.
Once it even braked the car for a set of powerlines over the road.
Is there a way to turn off and just use it as normal cruise control.
The car had a software upgrade 2 weeks ago that made no difference

Be careful with this system. Ours came within millimeters of crashing into a tree this afternoon, not with the rear or rear quarter, but with the rear passenger side door, it tried to swing in to a reverse park and did not recognise the tree at all, I had to intervene with the brake. Second attempt, reverse park again, it mounted the gutter and scraped the under carriage, it self corrected and did the exact same thing again, scraped up and down 3 times before coming to stop in the park, half mounted up the gutter for some reason. Next, 3rd attempt, it smashed up a box gutter again this time trying to reverse into a driveway. Literally cut the corner reversing directly up the box gutter, across the corner of some grass to get into the driveway and marked up the tyre, luckily the rim was undamaged.
