    They were one of my favorite bands, I don't recall ever hearing this song. She was a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice . It was sad to watch her waste away and die

    It´s not fair what happened to Karen, she was so beautiful, for me the most beautiful artist of all the time.

      I would agree, i am not sure if it was the success that brought on the eating issues, or her mother, but maybe a think a little of both, but more over then not her mother. Sad that a parent would play favorites. Also even if she felt that the audience would have cared that she was not physically fit like a model, or worse THEY didn't or wouldn't. Shame that it turned out the way things did.

    Great sound! Thanks for posting these 2 great songs that I listen to almost every day.Love The Carpenters! Always gave their best and it shows! Thank You Richard! Love You! Thank You Karen for showing us how to do it the right way.There will never be another You! Love You forever! Miss you so very much!

      It wasn't a single, so isn't very well known. The baroque choir made up of multitracked Richard and Karen is impressive. Second track is a rare lead by Richard. For a bit more of that look up his 1987 solo album Time, where he does the old multitracking again by himself, on When Time Was All We Had.
