Absolutely LOVE this style, I did it on my hair last night and I got so many compliments. Your channel is by far my fave on TH-cam, love every one of your videos that I've watched. Please keep the hair vids coming, I love trying new do's on my hair (especially vintage) and yours are just sooooper. Xx
oh Kate! what a lovely comment xx I'm so pleased you tried this and looked fabulous. I'm actually sitting on my sofa right now researching some new tutorials so I will film and upload just as soon as I can. thank you very much for brightening up my Saturday evening xx
I love your videos! I found this when I was searching for vintagey hairstyles for Dapper Day(an event at Disneyland/DisneyWorld/DisneyParis where people dress up super fancy and vintage and awesome!) And I've been trying to find one that'll withstand a whirlwind day at Disneyland and think this ones the winner! Thank you so much for the inspiration, I'm totally hooked to your channel now!
oh my goodness! I LOVE the hair band trick! That will make it so much easier when I do roll my hair with my sponge! Thank you! Also this is such a lovely look! Can't wait to try it tomorrow!
Tried it today for a dance performance I was in. This is the very first proper vintage hairdo I've ever done! It didn't go exactly as planned: I couldn't get the front barrel roll to go the right way so ended up telling it the same direction as the rest. The only thing is that, oh God, it takes ages to get a relatively decent roll with long hair (a bit below the scapula length), but other than that I loved it! Thank you for the video!
Ah I love it!! Definitely going to try it! Wish you showed us what you were wearing cos it looked amazing. Maybe upload a pic to instagram! Can't wait to see. Glad you're doing videos again. Would love to see a little life update or something. Keep up the good work lovely xxx
Ok I just cant stop adoring you ( you must be my girl crush lol) 1- Hair style is so great- Im going to try this out soon, 2- What a great top (or is it a dress?)! & 3- Beautiful freckles! Have a good one girly =)
Fine-haired ladies, do not despair! This style is achievable for you, too. I'm living proof! The secret is tacky hair. For me, that means one-day old. I used a volumizing shampoo and conditioner one day before. You could probably achieve this on clean hair with dry shampoo. You will need to tease all your hair before tying it in the side ponytail. Tie the band at the end of your shortest layer instead of sliding it down to not wreck the teasing. Smooth it out gently with a brush, and roll. If your hair is very fine as mine is, you will most likely have to accessorize to hide the gap.
ell, with regard to curly hair you've gotta work with what you've got, don't try to straighten or brush out your curls just see where they take you, you shouldn't expect your rolls to be smooth, that's okay. How short is your hair?
You have really lovely hair :P besides hair style tutorials do you have a hair care routine... solely referring to the thickness of your hair . wish mine was like yours ;(
Hi! I'm going to try this one tonight. BUT: I have really little hair, and you have loads ;) Could you do a tutorial using another person with thin hair and show show victory or other rolls? And thank's for the donut-thingy tip: it really helps making it look like I have some hair :)
Natalie, do you have your hair curled before beginning this style? If so, what kind of curls? Thanks! You look stunning! I'm hoping to attempt this style to wear to a wedding this weekend. xox
no, no curls. although if you have poker straight hair it might be nice to have some curls in the ends to facilitate the rolls. I would suggest large rollers or tongs just to give it a nice bit of flick. the top of the hair is straight so no need to curl right to the roots. to ear level is fine
Oh my! You are soooooooo smart!!!! You save us lots of time doing this hairstyle. Thanks!
Very glamorous, love it!
So pretty and elegant! And it looks fairly easy to do, can't wait to give it a try. Perfect for the hot weather, cheers

I'm afraid, with regards to thickness, that's just the way it has been all my life.
Thank you though xx
:)

You are very creative! Thanks a lot! Please ADD SOME LIGHT, cause your hair look a little bit dark and it’s sometimes hard to see all details.

+Vintagious Thanks for the detailed tips! Very helpful! Keep up the good work!
Very cute!!! How do I find you on Instagram !???
natalie_vintagious
Do you think I can get away with this if I have a fringe? I'm worried it might look a bit funny if I'm not able to do the roll at the front!
your videos make my day, I'm a vintage whore...I live for pre 60s glamour
Excellent!! Thank you Doll
