Congrats. Mine is black pearl with tan interior. It's a gorgeous model however it has some issues like paint rash in the front of the hood I eliminate it with polishing compound and carwax. I can see some paint rash on yours too in left door under the mirror. And about hood it's a yes, it supose to stay open. Mine stays open, maybe if you tighten those screws of struts may done the job.
You need an abarasive wax, it's polishing compound, in some cases you have to use sandpaper to get rid of bubbles/paint rash, but sandpaper it's needed only in hard cases. Do you know Robs model cars YT channel? Check it out, he is a well known collector and modifier, in his channel he has a tutorial about how to remove paint rash/bubbles from model cars. Please note that sometimes paint rash comes from metal itself due to a defect with zamac alloy.
An awesome model worth its weight in gold if purchased early on. However as much as I love the candy red color, I would rather see a different color interior than black. Thanks for showing!
