Matt please realize that while some level-ups in these games have requirements that need to be met first (for example the veggies need both the wife and a high level fire to work) most are just based on the number of turns that thing has been in play

Clearly never actually understood the full meaning of the instructions in grow island. He was so enthusiastic that it had instructions at the beginning, and he read them, but did not process the meaning. Everything grows with time. Some things are affected by other items, but each basic grow process is the same. Many changes need other resources to occur, yes. Not all changes are directly cause by the thing placed before them.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised because he still says it’s a trial and error game, which it kinda is, but it’s also about paying attention to the changes and how they still happen or not when order changes.
Im surprised there was no secret alien ending with an awful pun like CONGRATU-RECOVERY lol

How about Grow Clay? Everything is 3d! Because it's actually stop motion! So much effort was put into Grow Clay that you should see the end!
I'm not so sure about that one, when I played it I couldn't beat it because the last level kept glitching out, also it has levels, and for the secret ending you have to submit an invention to this invention sharing website, so all in all I just didn't really like it, and it was the only one I didn't like
