omg same !!! I love them to death, I even remember checking the offical website quite often to see a new drop (even though I couldnt undertand a thing cuz, its in japanese). Im glad more people remember them 🥰🥰
The thing about these games is the non true endings things can become other things when you don't follow the right path. Thats what makes it so interesting.
I’m so glad these games are a nostalgia hit for so many others too. I remember the exact classroom I was in when I first found them, on some defunct flash game site, and they were all in Japanese. My friends and I spent combined weeks trying to work out every combination for every game.
Hey EazySpeezy. As a moderator of Grow Valley, I am honored to be a part of this history alongside your contribution. This is perhaps the most meaningful video in my life and I am more than astounded that you would choose this gem of a speedgame as your video topic (or at least, part of it, lol)! I hope to see you at GDQ in the future. Good luck and goodbye.
@@bertoltfriedrichbrecht7975 They didn't make these games. These games were made by one Japanese man (EYEZMAZE) who had to undergo heart surgery years ago and haven't been able to return to making more games since. Or maybe he just got tired of the whole thing after the heart surgery.
the video made game meaningless. true experience is trying out for yourself what can u build and achive. thats the beauty of this game. cute flash games good memories
There's a special place in my heart for this whole series. I remember the branching path one very fondly (the one where you dig down and make a mine. though i always liked the space flower ending)
Grow Valley has also stuff underground. That's what the robor is for. Also there is second ending that can be achived faster. There is also second ending for GROW V3.
i loved these games so much, i used to try to get every ending by trying to use every object in different orders. my favorites were grow valley and grow rpg because they had the coolest cutscenes
This happened to me once while I was blazing through promising starting conditions in SimCity for SNES. I ended up with a village that, after a year (or two?) was perfectly stable. The income, costs, and all were perfectly stabilized. I let it go like that for 15 years and then some fire or whatever happened and it didn't come back the same when I repaired it.
Imma be real, watching the grow series as a speed run hurts my heart a little. I didn't even know you could skip the cutscenes, and I'll simply choose not to from here on.
I loved playing grow valley when i was younger, i've been trying to remember the name of that game for like 5 years. So glad i decided to check your channel today and see a vid on it
Attempt 1 of asking Ben to speedrun Bejeweled 3 for a few of these categories. -Speedrun going to the maximum depth in Diamond Mine -Speedrun all relics (or 100% if you want) -50 Butterflies in Butterfly mode -50,000 in Poker -Level 10 in Classic -Level 25 in Zen
7:55 it just dawned on me... It took me this long to relise what that logo said/meant... Andf im a big fan and i didnt see it before now. Now tho... Grow castle?
Omg i thought grow valley was a fever dream i came up with, i've been looking for this game since i was 15 and im 21. Finally, my long lost childhood game
If you're looking for small simple games to speedrun, you should run Volantia: Kingdom in the Sky, it has no real competetive scene despite being a pretty well put together game that requires a good amount of luck and skill.
EazySpeey! There is another Grow game that you GOTTA try! there is this goat game that is time based. Completly viable for your speedy skills, and also its wacky beyond reason!
I use to play these and there are more grow games I can at least remember 1 I use to play where u grow a cube basically making it a cube planet and sadly that wasn't here
I used to play these games all the time as a kid! Wish there were more, honestly.
Same here, the grow Series had always been one of my most favorite games
omg same !!! I love them to death, I even remember checking the offical website quite often to see a new drop (even though I couldnt undertand a thing cuz, its in japanese). Im glad more people remember them 🥰🥰
Same. Been long enough to remember it.
I only liked these kind of games, miragine war and flakboy.
There was grow cube and grow nero or something and grow island

Why did you guys stop making games? These kind of games would be more interesting and qualitied if you would keep going

I loved the entire series and trying to find the correct order logically, loved it ❤
God I loved these games as a kid
.. I would spend hours trying to get the right order by myself
i'm still not certain I ever did get the right orders lol
Walkthroughs baybee
I memorized tower at some point
There's a special place in my heart for this whole series. I remember the branching path one very fondly (the one where you dig down and make a mine. though i always liked the space flower ending)
I used to play this in back 2005. I remember I was so fascinated at the drilling hill just to make those roads and the robot.
Grow Valley has also stuff underground. That's what the robor is for. Also there is second ending that can be achived faster. There is also second ending for GROW V3.
The grow cannon game is exactly how I felt this morning trying to wake up lmao
I'm so glad Ruffle made these games playable again. The Grow series is great.
A lot of these minigames have secret endings with different orders and cutscenes, i love these games
The sounds in this game give me insane nostalgia
E
Is there a speedrun category for the alternative endings? If so, it'd be nice to see Eazy do them!
i loved these games so much, i used to try to get every ending by trying to use every object in different orders. my favorites were grow valley and grow rpg because they had the coolest cutscenes
and there you learnt how fast P(n) grows
@@rotak8349 what
@@Lukas99g there are 10 factorial possible orders to use the objects. I was saying that, trying to do every order, you learnt how fast factorials grow
@@rotak8349 oh yeah thats true lol
you just made me rediscover one of my childhood favorite games i forgot the name of and gave up searching for, 'Grow nano vol.3'.
this brings back so many happy memories
This is nostalgic, played it soooo many years ago, forgot it even existed
I loved these games! Not so much traditional gameplay, no killing, just gentle puzzling and experimentation.

This is a whole different level of nostalgia
the one I remember playing as a kid was Grow Island
i remember watching playtroughs of this when i was younger ❤️
These games are such classics. Tbh I used to click everything and hoped for the best.
Imma be real, watching the grow series as a speed run hurts my heart a little. I didn't even know you could skip the cutscenes, and I'll simply choose not to from here on.
There is also the alternate ending to grow 3 where instead of level max you get level fire for all the components.
Loved these as a kid ^^
Man the nostalgia, really loved Grow Tower though Grow Cube will always be my favourite :)
That has to be one of the best towers I've seen in a long while. Had a whole brick transformer.
I love these games, so creative and fun.
For the entirety of the video I've only been thinking "I'm sure there's a comprehensive story that I just don't know" and nothing else.
The amount of times this channel has reintroduced me to an old flash game I used to love as a kid
I loved playing grow valley when i was younger, i've been trying to remember the name of that game for like 5 years. So glad i decided to check your channel today and see a vid on it
Oh my god the nostalgia… I forgot this game existed a long time ago, this Is crazy
Same but I didn't know the name of the game
My brother and I use to love this games, our favorites where the cube one and the sphere one. Such a lovely memory thanks!
This tornado really is like "Hey im on the right side of the screen". Can't believe how accurate it was

Oh, if you're curious about the robot in Grow Valley, it's a robot mole suit, it was used to do all the underground digging and work.
Grow is so much fun, thanks for doing these runs again :)
I could have sworn there's also another GROW game where the guy's sick, and we have to make him recover.
these games still go hard
I'd LOVE to see a little alchemy speedrun, it was a major part of my childhood
Woah wait. There's Grow Cannon!? Imma gonna pause/skip this one here and play it myself first. Need to catch up to my childhood game real quick.
1:31 Hate to be nerdy, but actually it's not a helicopter, but rather an ornithopter.
IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS GAME FOR YEARS, THIS WAS MY FAVORITE
i remember playing these on HoodaMath back in 4th grade. honestly a highlight of my life lol
These games were my childhood so glad to see them get some love
I like how there's also a Japanese option in the bottom left corner.
The right leg turned into a left left on growth human section. The fibula is supposed to be lateral (outer part) of the leg
"I'm pretty sure the robot does nothing."
Robot: digs entire underground.
You don't know how much time I've spent looking for these games
I never expected to see the GROW series be speedrun, let alone on this channel.
@EazySpeezy you know that both grow valley and grow 3 have alternate endings? would love to see you do those endings :D
Bro can really do
***speedruning world hunger***
I love these videos they unlock memories i didnt know i had
I really enjoyed your last vid on these games. I bet this one will also be good!
FINALLY! MY QUEST TO FIND THIS GAME HAS COME TO AN END! i can now watch these games in nostalgia :)
I think there’s a whack a mile game which involved demons made by the same people. I’d like to see that speed run
Please do more grow games, I loved those
2:42
Best music in ALL of the games!
I remember playing these as a kid... Oh those were the days
Core memories have been unlocked
8:52 is effortless comedy and definitely the highlight of the video 🤣
He also got springlocked XD
For Grow 3, how come you only did the one ending?
It’s any% speedruns
@@cwv157 There's a category for both ending, so he could've just done both of them.
Could you do a Speedrun of the original Shantae?
This video just unlocked some memories I didn't remember having
I feel like we could make a mini animation series based on these games.
Id like to say that ive been looking for this game for years now !!! but couldnt cause i couldnt reamember its name , and now happened apon this video
okay, I have been dragged to do this: Speedrun Strike Force Heroes while in a paintball match

This is like listening to a 5 year old tell you about his day.
Currently I'm keeping an eye on The Mera game, but when I watch this video I still feel love these games
Love the grow games! My favourites were the cube, the island and the one with the sick dude
grow nano
Yeeeeeee These games were elite. I remember I barely knew how to use my dads computer, but I always played this and raft wars.
EazySpeey! There is another Grow game that you GOTTA try! there is this goat game that is time based. Completly viable for your speedy skills, and also its wacky beyond reason!
I really wish the Grow series would get its own collection type thing similar to the Henry Stickmin games did.
Yoooo, I love these games. Grow cube was the best imo.
This are soo nostalgic!!!🥺
I love grow tower! Lost it for years trying to find what the name was
Two of these games have alternate endings. I wonder if they're faster to speed run.
Some of the ones I haven't seen. But I think there are more so please do more episodes. There was I think one with curing a guy as well.
God I loved these as a child. Used to play them on the school computer. They were really hard because everything was in Japanese and I was about 8.
I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS GAME FOR EVER 😭😭😭✨✨✨
I wonder what a Manual Samul speed run would look like?
these kinds of games were the best as a kid
You should do a speedrun of getting the secret endings of grow island, grow valley, and grow ver. 3
I did not know there was another grow game. I only knew of the old 3
Please play the other games of the series, too!
He should speedrun the maze
Would actually be a speedrun game
I love how he just gets right into the video instead of doing a super long annoying intro. Great vids😁!
I died when he said "the purple guy coming all the way down from five nights at Freddy's"
Can you please make a speed run of ace of seafood please?
the robot at grow valley is for alternate ending, if you follow different order
The moment we’ve been waiting for.
Man is speedrunning my childhood
This is a nostalgia I only remember that it was only a dream game and now I was wrong
I’ve never seen these games in my life…they look super cool tho
I use to play these and there are more grow games I can at least remember 1 I use to play where u grow a cube basically making it a cube planet and sadly that wasn't here
Yeah these are fun little games. I remember them.
