Some artists create works for just a split second, for a Grammy or a MTV award. But some create works that have the ability to sustain and to live on. My favorite album ever came out in 2015 (Florence and the machine HBHBHB), and since then I was looking for “another favorite album”, fingers crossed, but I really think this might be it. Congrats Dearest Allie X, your work will live on I promise, that’s the magic of art, it stands tall. You stand tall 💪. XO

Quarantine really exposed that my reality was not accepted by this weird world. 3 years of psychiatry for underlying issues led to some of the worst times of my life. But I’m at the most peace now & without realizing it, the biggest breakthrough was accepting i am weird a 180 & new beginning ❤
Allie, you probably won´t read this but thank you so much for making MUSIC at the very verge of the apocalypse...Cape God was THE soundtrack of that (not so) short period of my life during the pandemic, that happened right after I graduated from high school and everything came together and caused me a deep state of depression and anxiety, and it´s really surreal how Cape God captured those exact feelings right before the whole world changed...and now I feel Girl With No Face might be the soundtrack of my current state of healing from everything I suffered through all my life and craving for a new fully realized version of me

Amazing track! I love the winding up beat and when your voice gets higher and higher as your voice gets more emotional I get goosebumps.
Video is cool too, I like the style and the hair going everywhere. It's dramatic and mesmerizing.
The beat reminds me of maniac from the 80s by Michael Sembello, it has been stuck in my head since i've heard it and now this will be too.

One of the easiest things (and difficult to have a good result) in visual production is the effect of hair in the wind. But the way you perform and sing calmly without it disturbing you, and doing it freely shows how much you dedicate yourself to your work (and I'm sure that hair in your mouth must have been the least of the challenges of your journey so far) . Pride of you is now a small quality compared to your artistic gift.
This era is stunning.

This track is so good I can't stand it. Modern music is like elevator music... no parts, no build up, but this is like when an artist could make A SONG.
