A video on Clara would be great not much is known about her and she deserves more than just being a character in Schumann’s life.

great biopic

Schumann is such an intriguing individual and I often wonder if it’s all due to the fact that even with all this information he still remains a mystery. I loved this documentary and will now be reading Schumann:The faces and the Masks since I want to understand him better,a great composer indeed.

Thanks for an enjoyable documentary! Just one correction: the song 'Mondnacht' is from the Eichendorff Liederkreis op 39, not from Dichterliebe!!

Chopin and Liszt had many conversations about Schumann and his misery which I also found interesting.

Would love to learn more about Brahms but his compositions lacked depth and seemed to self-focused. While Schumann was better because his compositions consisted of poets,the world, romance,nature,god and experiences.
