The gameplay, to me is not upto the mark. You don’t feel like you are out there scoring those runs but rather the characters are doing everything. Not feeling the weight behind shots since it is just swipe and give direction type of game. Animations are good but after a while without solid gameplay it will not work. Lot of clipping issue as well. The shots are sometimes unrealistic and ball is going somewhere else. Overall a decent attempt though the ads are infuriating and to make it free you have to pay a lot!
@@RahulRants rc 24 actually is better than this when it comes to batting , the placement, footwork , shot selection and shot direction. A lot to choose to play a shot and when you execute one it feels satisfying. But you play cricket 24 so , I think in comparison rc 24 doesn't comes near but being a mobile game its the best out there.
There ai is the biggest issue even bowler hits 20-25 runs in last over. In a game in rc 24 i manged to get seven wickets of ai on the score of 79 and then a bowler camed in and his timing meter is all red no perfect zone yet he smashed me and the target i got was 195 isn't it unrealistic that why i think rc 24 is a failure compared to rc22. Swipe also has same issues in a big ground it is impossible for me to hit boundary in hard mode even when timed perfect
Cricket 24 should have these animations... currently the game feels so bland tbh. A batsman gets struck on the head at 150kph and has zero reactions is very weird. Career mode also needs an overhaul because it just feels like a chore... doing things over and over repeatedly. Even Cricket 22 career was better than the 24 one Also, they could add in a few voices for the player during things like man of the match, toss and DRS time as it feels very awkward Hopefully Cricket25/26 will sort out these and add more quality of life changes as the gameplay itself is really top notch.
Agreed. It feels like a wasted potential, somewhat. Good gameplay great selection of grounds, but the presentation and basics are lacking. Add in rain and DLS and maybe bring back scenario mode and it will be golden!
@@RahulRants DLS would be sooo fun though. Especially in T20 games where you could immediately have a rain shower and then the match becomes like 5 overs and more fun… Although by far the worst part is career mode as it has almost nothing to offer and it’s more boring than most other games
The real reason why rc 24 failed in terms of gameplay and realism is because of lot of fans who are not giving proper feedback. All they requesting are auction, player face, jersey, commentary, and other unwated things. I hope it changes
@@RahulRants I used to play rc23 multiplayer even tho I don't like game mechanics of that game. They ruined that too by adding gold /platinum shot which turns out to be a pay to win game , now I don't play this $hit game anymore
Since it is a "swipe" game, you have to use mouse only and not keyboard if you are playing using PC. So, the entire control is just using mouse - that is moving the batsman, clicking on type of shots, and then selecting the area of the field to hit. I think the game would be better off played on a mobile phone as fingers work faster than mouse haha Regarding the shots, yes once I play a few more games I will try to upload them!
@@RahulRants bro you just misunderstood me I was talking about short variations in cricket 24 I have been playing the game since one year now and until now I am not able to play every shot which I see in your videos that's why I was asking you I am not asking about real cricket because I myself don't play that much

I feel if they provide the custom difficulty feature in real cricket 24 , that game is already a delight when it comes to batting . With AI adjustments the bowling will also become quite engaging. This Swipe game just is average at best.
@@RahulRants there are a few buttons alright , but it gives a lot of freedom to the batsmen . There's a shotmap and you can only play those selected shots that you have chosen in your shot map and you can toggle between different shotmaps for different type of batsmen . Its quite easy if you play on phone and a little tougher when in a pc because of the shot selection and all. Rc 24 is just like dbc14 for android , the first simulation game for cricket that feels tougher to master but fun to play. Hope The developers will improve from here .
