I remember buying cricket 07 on PS2 straight after watching Australia beat England 5-0 in the Ashes Series and wanting to recreate that experience in the game. Very fun game.
What we need is a competitor to Big Ant's Cricket titles. As long as we don,t get that we can only be satisfied with what we have. Soccer fans have benifited a lot with having pes as fifa's competitor for a long time. Then only drastic improvments and the quality we expect as cricket fans can be met.❤

Im sure Ea sports would earn profit if they release the game now. Bcoz indian gaming market has become large. 15 years before indian peoples are not into gaming. But now a days. Lot of peoples ready to buy and spend noney in the game. But they have to create the game as fully multiplayer in that case there wont be piracy issue
Considering EA and Cricket Boards point of view, Cricket games are good investment. EA earns more through other games compared to Cricket and Cricket Boards get more money through other things compared to a game..
Until and unless gamers in subcontinent prove that with game units purchase, dont think they will risk it. Console and pc gamers are less than 10% in India compared to 91% mobile phone gamers

I do feel that there needs to be a balance between bat and ball. Like a contest. Where bowlers can easily get wickets and batters can score runs when there is a bad ball to be put away.
I don’t think anything should be easy. (Unless you are playing on easy difficulty). It should be as simulation based as possible. Work hard to get Wickets as well as runs
Imagine if Ea games and big ant cricket collab and make an ultimate AAA title cricket game, with graphics and motion capture and attention to details like GTA 6 or RDR2. And big ant handling all technicalities of cricket, and they give us update every or every ICC trophy that comes, with new players, with all their motion capture, batting style, their weaknesses, bowling style, their weaknesses, stats, everything, make us think like real cricketer, real captain, to set field according to batsman, reading the pitch well, planning and everything else. IF this happens, this would be the most selling cricket game in the history of cricket video games. Fans would go crazy. But whenever i see if ea is making cricket game or not, i only gett disappointment and had to satisfy myself with cricket 24.
Reverse swing option is not available in the game as far as I know. For that you need the option to see which side of the ball has shine, which one is rouged up. Cant see anything in the game for that
Cricket 2005 was the best of them all. Difficulty wise, not like 2007 where you can hit every ball for Six. I found it very hard even in easy mode to win a Test series in Australia. It was the best in every aspect

Don’t think cricket is that popular in USA among locals. It is the Asian diaspora still watching the game there if you look at the demographics. In the end it will always come down, to the sale. Which will be difficult considering even now people are not in a position to buy games at ₹3000-4000 in subcontinent

@Yadav.Harsh.Kaninwal All of EA sports titles are over priced though. Plus they concentrate more on money spinning online modes too which makes it literally pay to win. In the last ten years they have hardly done anything for offline modes, which is personally what I play. Almost all of EA sports games are now geared towards making more money from their online team building modes. For manager mode and offline gameplay in football I still prefer Master League of Pro Evo Soccer. Such class!
@RahulRants I have cricket 24 and my rig is pretty decent with rtx 3050 laptop series but man the game lags so much at even medium to low settings. And the OG codemasters works with EA. They have experience with games optimization and all pricing will not be a big problem as they have basics of cricket so they don't have to spend resources for basics. Games like dream cricket 25 follow EA path but they implemented it really good I would recommend it to you. The Indian market is going to boom and after the implementation of new laptop import policy the prices of hardware might drop and people then will invest in gaming.
Fact is no one cares about cricket outside of Indian subcontinent. Even here most of the public will get pirated copy of the game this incurring them loss.
Playing Cricket 07 in the new computer seems really difficult as I faced many problems and weird framerate issues which wasn't the case in older PC. The best game is still the Cricket 07 but alternative options is Cricket 19 if you have newer PC as Latest cricket 22 & 24 is hardly an improvement and also is very difficult to play compare to Cricket 19 with an unfair ai.

If manager mode could have been introduced could have been more interesting for County Championships. Training, Transfer mode, Injuries. Would have made it absolute jem to play.

Worst thing in Big Ant games is physics.. in almost all versions if you play square cut the ball will go for 6 on deep square leg..

Reverse swing option is not available in the game as far as I know. For that you need the option to see which side of the ball has shine, which one is rouged up. Cant see anything in the game for that
@RahulRants maybe maintaining the rough and shine side we can use the opposite side of the swing variety on the seam angle
