"Control By Chaos" was one of the last tracks written for The Evolution of Chaos album. The initial idea for the song was to utilize some of the elements from the first two Heathen albums that helped define the band's sound, combine them, and then push everything a step further. As we were putting the finishing touches on the album, it was apparent that this song embodied the overall sound of the new album. It ended up serving as a "title track" for the album and fit in perfectly between "Dying Season" and "No Stone Unturned" in the original track listing.

Sounds like the original CD, but without the harsh clipping. This is what it should have been in the first place. I'm very excited to crank this on my hifi and actually enjoy it!

songwriting aside, the warmth and human feel of the 2005 demo spoiled me so hard that I've never been able to listen to the album without swearing every 10 seconds or so. not even kidding.

The vinyl was a separate master from the CD this time. Even more dynamics in the vinyl!

I remember these guys back when they 1st came out they didn't really cut it for me. Call me stupid!!!! damn..... The Evolution of Chaos and Empire of the Blind are a fucking thrash fest! Going to be seeing them with Overkill and Exhorder in PA next month. I can't fucking wait!!! What a line up. If Flotsam and Jetsam played at this show it would be hands down the best line-up ever.
