Thanks for the memory Ferryman. I grew up in Esquimalt. My earliest memories of the voyage from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen were in Victoria Class ships. It saddens me to know that they're all gone now. I hope BC Ferries commissions a new Queen of Esquimalt, Queen of Saanich, and Queen of Vancouver. These ships were the backbone of the fleet back in the day. They deserve to be honoured. They were wonderful ships and I have nothing but good memories for them.
Well at that time, she was only being used on long weekends, or on the really busy days. But she was actually decomissioned from service back in May of this year, and is being prepared to sail to China.

i was there too that day... it was cool they brought her in. I was at the terminal since 10:30 a.m.
