Ceiling fans in winter is clockwise & in summer it needs to be counter clockwise. The easy way to remember is a ceiling fan counters the heat of summer! Enjoy your quiet fan but especially the cool temperature !!!
With permanant marker I write S for Summer, W for Winter on the fan cover itself. S W, Sometimes they may be up and down W on top, S on the Bottom. I have both fans exact same settings I wrote here for the direction. I bought a white pen type maker for my darker metal fan. blk. marker for the other. It is very helpful to others in the home, I think. No thinking just read it S or W. Hope this helps!!!

I live in southeast Texas and I have a ceiling fan in every room including light socket fans in my walk-in closets. To me ceiling fans are a must have!

When we built our home we put a ceiling fan in every bedroom and living room. I'm so glad we did. I wouldn't have my own place without one. It really cuts down on your AC costs as well. Make sure you have them prepare the ceiling bracing for proper insulation in your new home as well. You don't have to install them right away, you can do that one at a time as you can afford, but if you have the basic bracing for them it makes life a whole lot easier later. Mounted correctly with correct bracing, it won't make noise if you have the quiet ones. I would! Totally worth the cost!

i just bought a Dreo small table fan and it is great. I use it in my bedroom in addition to my ceiling fan. Nan Bridges in Florida
If you feed your donkey apple cider vinegar in its feed, all types of flies will leave him alone. I fed this to my horse, and it worked amazing. You can also wipe it down with the vinegar
We may have to look into that.
Suggestion put a little holder up somewhere handy for the remote to live..saves hours hunting for it when small hands have investigated!
I like the name Nick since she named the other one Stevie. Or Mac. I am excited for you all to have that fan! Will sure help with the flies I bet. And feel good too. Will even move the air all the way into the kid's room for their sleeping comfort. I can't live without my fan since childhood. I actually have my original antique fan from our family cabin that was my great grandparent's. I wish it still worked. I wish I could afford to have it fixed, but I can't. I'd actually leave it to someone that loved and appreciated antique fans. My dad was given a very old fan from one of his clients when he was an insurance adjuster. He admired the fan and she begged him to take it out because she was scared of it. So he, by himself, hung it in the tall cabin and it is soooo heavy! Even after a hundred year flood it still works. Or it did the last time I was there...I can't go there anymore. It's complicated. They just don't make things like they used to!

One thing to be aware of is when adding any wireless access it can open your home internet up to hackers. Make sure your router is well protected, if you can get a vpn. I use a wireless heating cooling system and someone told me about the danger.

I enjoy my ceiling fan. It is mounted securely and doesnt make any sound. One in the kids room wouks be great for them. One of my friends young son tried swinging on theirs. Kids do the craziest stuff. Watching replay tonight.
Shadow because he is beside you all the time. Cog Hill bought fly socks for their donkey. The flys were biting so much it made sores.

Wow Brandon. I love that fan. I like how the blades are attached and how quiet it is. I think a second one would be nice and should cool that entire area. I like “Blaze” for the donkey for his white face.
I keep thinking of special sidekick names. Tonto (Lone Ranger) or Robin (Batman) Barney Fife, Smokey and Bandit, I’m sure you can think of others. There are some from musical bands.

Good air circulation is an Absolute Must for a cleaner, healthier home-especially in smaller homes or apartments...
It’ll help keep things cooler in the summer, too...
If you can find a reversible window fan-(Holmes is highly recommended)-you Can increase air circulation and keep inside temp. down even more!!!
