Hey guys. I just saw where part of the video is gone when we were talking about the money situation. There’s no way I can go in and add it.
Pretty much she paid for her merchandise and requested $60 back. She got distracted by a friend and left and came back and it was gone. That’s the piece that is missing.

No worries Brandon, I pretty much figured it out by all that had been said. I've had that happen to me as well. Unfortunately, not only can you not trust many people anymore (which is very sad) but there are so many thieves and dishonest folks all around us everyday in this ugly world we live in. Hey Guys, they make a bigger bottle that would be better for her. It would make her more full at each feeding. Babies drink a lot normally from their mommas all day. Just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t know you have the smallest bottle, more for weaning instead of sustaining. ❤
Princess Layla is already 6months old - there is no need to start with a milk bottle now. You can make sure, that they get used being touched by you, because you need to be able to cut their teeth, hooves and fur, but Llamas are not pets - they have to respect you. The worst is with males the „Male-Berserk-Syndrome“

Brandon, I would blade to get rid of the clumps, branches and other debris. Then I would lightly till it to plant grass. That way the seeds have loose soil to grow from, easier for roots to establish.
I’m very surprised u haven’t gotten to the last two lamas to shear. It’s really asking for trouble. They really need to b worked into ur busy schedule asap. Should have been weeks ago. Hi Brandon and Stephanie, I'm sure you get tired of this but Jason@ Coghill plants a radishcover crop that helps break up the ground and make it easier to plant stuff. The roots go deep and break up the ground.

In Oregon we use bentonite. It coats the walls on the inside of pond and seals leaks

I think if you took out the wood it would make it easier and safer when driving around your property. When it’s dusk or dawn and when the grass starts to grow if you don’t see the wood,it might be an issue. Especially when Leighton starts driving if he he isn’t already. Showtime has become so tame! She will be like her buddy Bushwacker
Hi Brandon I would take out the weeds and all the wood and junk so you can put in some extra top soil because that area is prone to flooding and try to avert the water flows. Other wise it wont be useable it will turn back into a mud bath. Love you all God bless and until next time take care

Definitely clear out the smaller brush to let the sunlight come through and five the grass a better chance to grow. Till then plant the grass. I have seen the dye work to pinpoint a leak in a pond.

You will need bigger bottles to feed the babies.We had calves to adults so yes every 4 hours feed .

Brandon if you would get a good harness for Princess Layla that has plenty of room for her to grow in and a good lead rope you will have much better control when you are trying to get her comfortable with you…
Rather than pushing her to take a bottle…
Use a bucket with some sweet feed and some milk mixed together that would make more sense to be grain trained because she does recognize what you have had in there..
She may just be done with milk since she’s already been pulled and moved to another pen..
Wouldn’t hurt to have a few apple treats for her either…
All the ponies and llamas would do better for you to get them closer with you all
Rewards will surely get their attention rather than just you talking and holding your hand out..
I would definitely clean that area up. If you are planning to grow grass than you can't maintain it with all those sticks and weeds. It would also be safer to walk through there with out all those obstacle you can trip on. You're on the right track Brandon, and it helps to beautify your land.
IMO I would not remove the roots because they help water penetrate deeper into the soil reducing surface runoff.

Are you not able to put in a pond liner (no idea what the cost would be)? Possibly just the deeper area and then cover with clay. That way the deeper area can be maintained a lot longer.

Also, on the Friesian horse channel I watch, when their mares are about to give birth, roughly 24 hours prior, they have drops of milk or moisture on their teats. I guess goats might do the same thing?
Do you guys have bridles and leads for the ponies and llamas? There are bridles without bits for the llamas, I saw on Amazon. I don’t know if Amazon is a good choice for those things. Maybe Tractor Supply? And maybe training items too?

Steph, do you have a torn rotator cuff? I had similar pain 18 months ago. Finally went to an orthopedic surgeon, had MRI. Showed my rotator cuff was trying to tear. Had the option of physical therapy and not lifting heavy things or surgery which has a 6 month recovery. I’m the sole caregiver and driver and 6 months to recover was just not possible. So I went the PT and being careful route. Two months later, other shoulder started being painful. Another MRI. Another beginning tear of the rotator cuff. I’ve been extremely careful for about a year. Doctor said things seemed to be getting better. Because of my age (77) and my home responsibilities plus 12 months of recovery, we both decided to not do any surgery. I’m very mindful of what I do with my shoulder-lifting, carrying too much weight with groceries, lifting over my head, etc. Please get this checked out ASAP. If this is what you have, it could abruptly tear and need surgery quickly or you could wait too long and too much damage as been done and nothing will help. You have 4 young kids, helping Brandon with the farm. Make an appointment today! Not next week or next month. As soon as you read this, make that call. Please, I’m begging you, for your sake and your family.

I love watching both of your videos and I feel like you are all members of my family, too. I've been praying for both of you with your health challenges. Steph, maybe it will help you to wear your arm in a sling. Then you can alternate keeping icepacks on the painful areas, icing it for 20 mins on then 40 mins off every hour. The hot weather will probably melt it quickly to less than that, though. Brandon, I hope you aren't lifting with your back and your core muscles. Try to just lift with your legs. I am worried about you both. Take breaks during the day to rest your bodies. Sending you all love and prayers from Donna Gulyas in Florida.
As far as that pasture is concerned, I'd say go with your gut, keeping in mind what the goats will browse on most. If they like some of those weeds, clean around them. But any land would benefit from some aeration.

My husband said the box blade will only pull up real small roots, ut you run the risk of tearing up your tractor. Better to hook a chain on the bigger roots and pull them out like that.

I came from the 70s in the early 80s we all knew people sold our information to the higher bids i thot this was wrong but it was explained how they can get away from this it was placed into law that protects those that buy and sell our information.
I was told once you figure out the area that the pond is leaking to lay newspaper on the water and they will sink and seal up leak. I would get some confirmation on it.
