From nowhere, Hardik was traded from GT and just because he won an IPL for GT, he was immediately seen a big way both by BCCI and MI. First criteria, you should set for Hardik is, to play without any injury for one full season.
If MI was sensible, SKY should have been the next captaincy material for them. They should have planned such a way that Rohit was captain in this 2024 edition and pass on the baton to another key MI player (SKY) who has also captained Team India. MI team mgmt can learn this simple sensitive captaincy change issue from CSK team.
At IPL level, when we can welcome FAME that is created by FANS, likewise any franchise and MI in this case should also learn to live with the SHAME created by FANS.
2025 - they are planning for a mega auction and there will be some sirappana sambavam loading....
