August 2024. I purchased a new Hav a heart # 1026 small animal cage. I have used larger Hav a heart cages for years A+. This 1026 has plastic/steel rod is not installed when taken out of box...does not stay attached place... You tube glossed over this flaw in design on their video, customer service gal can't explain anything technical...really? Will be returned to Home Depot tomorrow. Let the red squirrels run wild! W.
