    Pretty interesting neck joint. I thought it's deep glued, but in the reality it's even more interesting. Combines advantages of a glued neck and a bolt-on one at the same time

    I really love your work. I found your TH-cam videos about two months ago or so. I'm really glad I did.
    What you are doing it's something I want to start doing. My problem is that people with guitars and that kind of shape still think they her worth more than they are.
    One person whose guitar was as bad if not worse shape than the one in this video wanted what he originally paid for it! He claimed it's a classic and he knows what it's worth.
    After six months online trying to stop it. The price was dropping every single week. I refuse to buy it even when it dropped to what I originally offered him. Weeks before that he had sent me an email and told me we could work out a deal. I just never responded.
    Look forward to watching more from you.

    12:33 I've found a good way to clean these small parts is to use some fine beach sand mixed with water and some industrial hand cleaner. Put these all together into a small plastic jar and shake together until the parts are clean. Works very well and doesn't leave many deep scratches compared to a wire brush.

  • @brandonjackson5865
    @brandonjackson5865 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That’s a cool old Greco and sneaky genius how they camouflaged the bolt on design they could’ve put a strap button on the one exposed neck screw and hid it even more.
    I wonder if they thought early on Gibson were hiding neck hardware ? Possibly they built some of the early Grecos based off photographs ? I never realized that some of the Japanese bolt on LPs were like that, it’s very cool though.
    I don’t think a well designed neck joint is in anyway inferior to set and neck through. In many ways a bolt on is better especially if you ever get into modding and changing bridges you might need to change your neck angle a bit.
