What I love about InfraMan is that there’s no complicated reason behind the villains; they just want the Earth people to be their slaves. That’s all we need to know!
I like this one, didn't remember that they did a show like this. I don't really like the term "guilty pleasure" though - why feel guilty about most of these films? It'd be one thing if you liked a snuff film or a film glorifying rape or something but none of these fall into that category (I suppose some would say Last House does but they're wrong). Not sure what a better term would be though, and this one has become the standard. I haven't seen Greek Tycoon or Emmanuelle, and don't remember Infra-Man, but the other three are all interesting films with some good qualities for sure. I'd probably have to name Superfly as my favorite though there are many blaxploitation films I like more.
Infra-Man is my Thanksgiving film I watch it ever year along with The Wild Angels, if you’ve ever watched The Power Rangers you’ll dig it. I first saw Emmanuel when I was 13 on Select TV in the early 80s. I remember my mom watching The Greek Tycoon while I was in the next theater. I love the poster and its on Blu Ray from Kino Lorber.
I love how Roger is a huge fan of popcorn muncher B-Movies. Miss these guys
Out of all these films, The Fury is my favorite! It is also a good Brian DePalma movie and one that usually gets lost in his collection.

Gene was right on with SuperFly. Great review.
I can only think of 1: Lifeforce the woman show is probably the most attractive woman ever
Mathilda May!
Yes!
I'm guessing Infra Man was the inspiration for Power Rangers.
Inframan (which is fantastic by the way) was inspired by Japanese tokusatsu both Kamen rider and Ultraman.
no its based on an old japanese series that came out a few months before infra man
Rollercoaster is a much better film about disaster at amusement parks
25:14 I'm surprised that Gene changed his mind.
Ugh... Hearing about Gene Siskel being sexually aroused in a theater is T.M.I. for me. Haha!

Guilty for these guys with their reputations to endorse a good B movie
