Some of the My First Mini-Z's have some really interesting bodies. I remember seeing a Firetruck one which I quite liked, wish they were available as Hobby-Grade right away but for the price you can't really complain (especially considering the price of the normal Bodies).
I was confused by how to describe the steering when i reviewed this car as well. You're right, there is no servo, but it's also not completely non-proportional. When it's in motion, you can steer a little or all the way, but i still wouldn't call it proportional either. I called it semi proportional for lack of a better term.
I'm glad you showed that because I would have bought it also. The wpl kei trucks are fun. I made the van into a Cleetus McFarland inspired mystery machine.

Would’ve been cool if they made it grip better with more power.. and tunable suspension.. for $50 and the weak performance, this is cool for a 5 year old
the gearbox on it is sealed. But the body can be swapped on to any miniz chassis that is 90mm wheelbase and narrow. Thinking about swapping on my 4wd drift chassis. Just have to gather a few parts to convert it to narrow. Its posible it may fit other 28th scale platforms out there with some work.
I believe only the higher end miniZ race chassis will bind straight to the noble. This “my first” version definitely doesn’t. I believe the regular miniZ cars don’t either but I’m not certain on that.

There may be something wrong with yours... I just got one of these today and it is super fast on High, and turns like a dream. I think mines faster on Slow mode then yours was on High. But like you I wanted it for the body, so it iwll be going on something else soon enough. :D

this is literally built for a"makeitrc" chassis kit!!! they have also stronger motors etc.

Where did you git that scale Stihl Chainsaw at? Those mini z's remind me of the first gen X-Mods from back in the day.
I have 2 in white and 1 of the WRX blue 💙 as well. At $50 a pop, it was ok for body and wheel donors. The blue is on a GL-A chassis now, she rips.

It's a cheap little toy grade chassis under an AutoScale body. Not bad if they're charging 50 bucks for it.
There's a shop / track in Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worth, I've been meaning to check that one out. Looks like a mini-z sized track

I’m waiting on mine. The Blue one is super cool but from Japan. I couldn’t wait for the WR Blue one so I went with the white one.
Looks cool i had one of those from radio shack before they left Canada but my son kill it long ago. Was a black civic mide 90s model.

You should stick that body on a hex mod chassis. Adjustable wheel base,im sure it will shock you.

You should give the WPL mini D12 a try, its a small scale Kei truck as well but it performs way better than that one
I love mine. Just fun to drive it around the way it is.

Ive seen some fit, these are around 1/28 but I think this truck body is closer to the 24/25th size

It is not a good chassis and cannot be upgraded. The body is nice and can be swapped to a regular miniZ
