- Blum lateral stabilizer installation tutorial. The Blum lateral stabilizer for wide drawers will prevent side to side racking. Synchronizing the left and right runners increases the lateral stability. Load capacities are not increased when using this product.

I don’t get the gear numbers. I’m new and I’m installing this as we speak. Can I cut the gear racks flush to the end of the slide,
Never seen this product before. What is it
It is an accessory you add to Blum slides that moves the glides in unison. It is helpful on wider drawer boxes to greatly reduce racking.
So your depth of drawer. Must have a maximum length. If your drawer is too deep. I don’t think this is viable. Looks like the stabilizer sticks out the back. I use a lot of 18 inch slides in a 20 inch vanity cabinet with a 30 wide inset drawer, 5/8 boxes and 3/4 faces. I was looking for a solution for the racking
Just put a whole mess of blum slides in, they make some nice products.
