    Michelle I think you are suppose to put the shells in resin as you did the sand. It fills the insides up so no air gets trapped.

    I think your first instinct (lemon like the rubber coating) would have been the best choice or even a very pale blue. The silver edging is lovely but i feel the silver glitter backing is a bit heavy for the delicate flowers. Sorry!

    Beautiful! I just can't get that effect to work. I dont think I get my ratio of each colour right but I'll persevere. Wonderful work, really love these

      Are you using only mica powders? Keep 1/2 of what you mixed clear and then take the other 1/2 and split between your mica powders. Make sure to dump the clear into the centers once the colors are down.

    Did the shells stick up out of the top? I love these. Can you put one one domed tip coat the cover the shells all the way? I never really know what can and cant/shouldn't be done

    As usual I love them but like you blue is my color that I love. This is the first time I've heard you say that you are going to put cork on the bottom and was wondering what kind do you use?

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure where I got them, probably Amazon. But just small round or square flat cork pieces

    Love your videos, so informative and pleasure to watch. I did try to make these with blue and copper mica but the blue did not go over the copper, not sure what I did wrong, is copper too dark and I should use a lighter color? Thanks so much, looking forward to more of your videos.

      Thank you! I tend to do one dark color around the edge and then a light color in the center all the time. I haven't tried two dark colors yet. Put a pic in the comments, I'd love to see them!

    Are the striations forming bc of the brand of epoxy you’re using or because that’s the way the micas reacts to each other ?

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Any brand will do that when you add clear resin to micas

      Do you need to pour at a certain temperature for the blue to spread?
