Great video, bummer about the prop...I went out yesterday evening (Jan. 13) near mistletoe state park for 2.5 hours in the afternoon/evening and caught 16 fish, largies and spots all in one spot...they were just stacked up in a ditch, best one was a 3.1 lb largemouth....looking forward to seeing more of your content!

Nice that’s awesome! Yeah this time of year they’ll get grouped up really well in certain ditches. Usually once you find them, they’ll hang around that same area until they start to move up for prespawn.

Congrats on 2024 and looking forward to watching your journey in 25. Your videos have been helping me get on the fish! Learning a lot.

Hopefully you didnt bend your prop shaft. Happened to me last year when i bent a prop and had to idle back. ended up replacing the whole lower unit.

Luckily prop shaft is all good! Hoping Yamaha will warranty the prop and then should be good to go. Have a new prop just waiting to see if I have to pay for it or not 😅

Bad way to start the new year, hopefully it only gets better from here! I was wondering if you could tell me where your friend Cameron went, haven’t heard anything from him in a long time!

      I hope so too!
Funny you ask, he’s actually coming to fish with me this weekend. He still fishes a ton but just a lot of work to steady pump out videos. He’s planning to do more again this spring I think!

Check with your boat insurance company. I know Progressive ensures boat props...so you should only have to pay your deductible.

Good to know. May go that route if Yamaha doesn’t warranty it. Dealer seems fairly confident they’ll warranty it though, so hopefully it’ll end up being no big deal!
