To be fair to n_sacco I can definitely see the reasoning in game 1 - if the rhinos had kept up with the vulcan hp then the self-destruct would have taken them out of contention and then the levelled fangs would have maybe been enough against the overlords. The explosion did actually tag the amped rhino in the last round despite the shield, but he leveled it after you checked the hp, so it only did half the damage it needed. Think he lost a lot of tempo/experience in early rounds by not defending against the crawler flanks.
Once Sledgehammers hit level 3 they start to behave like a giant unit, extremely high. EMP shot is a good idea for 'carry sledges' I will certainly be stealing that idea.
@@DominatorD1 stormcallers are a good counter up to a point, but once the tanks are levelled up its hard for anything to stop them, especially if you tech field maintenance or mech rage
Gotta say, it feels good to see the dirty Fang + Rhino rusher just getting their ass handed to them in the first game -.- edit: Also, I love me some carry sledgehammers, so the second one was a great game, as well :D
@@TwoGish tongue in cheek ! I didn't know the expression thanks. I think the game would be far less interesting if only standard play was viable. Aggro seems much more risky and less obvious than standard. I think a good player should master both styles

love a good sledgehammer game

Be careful though, I had someone try it on me, and I just ran them over with overlords. + Stormcallers in shields.

Why do you say its dirty ? Feels more complex to play from my 1100 mmr pov

I'm being a bit tongue in cheek here. It's just not a playstyle I particularly enjoy going up against.

@@felixbeaudouin1899 No, I agree. It's just I prefer going up against more standard playstyles, personally. More relaxing that way =)
I like overlords with cannons vs carry sledge
Hi . Could anyone point me to some good Rhino plays please ?
