The text from X to Lang only proves they are talking about the Casino, they can't link him to being there as they never saw or caught him, but can conclude they were potentially working together. It would give them reason to keep an eye on Lang, other then that I doubt much will change at this point, maybe warrant for his arrest for questioning. Lang isn't stupid enough to send texts that would potentially get him in trouble. Yuno trolls a lot, but he knows better then to send information by text. Now Yuno or Tony calling Lang or any of the boys, connecting them would be a stretch as they live (have keys) at the Manor together, so it wouldn't be unusually to call them. So all the PD gained was some info on how the heist works and they are messing with the backup generators. In the end I still disagree with the Subpoena for X, simply based of the fact he wasn't found in a restricted area. It would be the same as arresting any random civilian who was inside. I don't even know if they would have been legally allowed to search him unless he had a class two on his back or had like a positive GSR test.

@@kingfulness Penta is 100% using meta info to know exactly when the blowing of the power plant meant the Casino was actually being hit. However, X opened the door in RP for them to “find it suspicious” in the first place because of him trying to snitch on CG.

Worst part about this is the texts mentioned about the generators. The cops might ask Dean where the generators are located next time since it was mentioned in the text.

Technically the texts didn't say anything about the city power, only the casino's own gen, so they shouldn't have a reason IC to camp the casino during blackouts. There was nothing connecting any of the boys caught to the c4 in the power plant.
I am just gonna say this if the casino heist wasnt unlocked to public they would never read their massages regarding them being in those rooms. And thats just a straight fax. I see this take so much on here and on reddit. I honestly don't understand how people twist this to be JPs fault. Cranes reasoning for allowing the subpoena, while sensible IRL, has never been used before on NP. JP literally did terrorism arcs where he got caught and nobody looked through his texts to find out who his associates are. Why would he think they do now? Crane only wanted to facilitate the cat and mouse RP and thought OOC that those texts will not contain anything that burns the heist in the way it now did. It's unfortunate but you can't blame anyone really.

A random guy went to the police station to tell Wrangler that a helicopter flew from the casino to blow up the power plant and flew back to the casino. Even though a few weeks ago this was happening five times a day without any consequences, this time PD decided to search the whole casino and unlock every locked door. They found a lot of people inside, but three people (X, Tony and Yuno) were trespassing in areas where they are not allowed. So police had a "hunch" that they must be attempting to rob the place. None of the three people had C4 residue on their hands, so police had another "hunch" that there are more people involved who helped to blow up the power. So then they subpoenaed the phone records of the three people. CB was careless and PD a bit too powerful. Now casino heist is ruined :(
