Well done for persevering with the intake pipe still in place, think I'd have given up cut the single use clip off and replaced it with a jubilee clip or clamp. Be good to see the Audi, though I prefer the RCZ for looks if not reliability 😂
@@SeriousAboutSalvage I did unsubscribe for a while but life is too short. I like the video's so didn't stay away too long. I hope you find it a good home it will be a cracking car for someone. All being said, I would still like my deposit back if possible as it was no ones fault. 👍
@@SeriousAboutSalvage Really appreciate the reply mate. The channel has came on leaps and bounds since TT days and been here since then. The new unit and camera has definitely added a new level to the channel along with a good mix of cars, so roll on 20k subs which wont be far away. Going to take the plunge myself and buy a salvage car soon but will likely go for a Cat N to start as I have limited mechanical knowledge and dont want to bite off more than I can chew haha
@@rsdelectrical My general advice for a newbie would be avoid rear end damage. Often hides more than it looks like and you can't unbolt very much. Compared to the front end, where as long as your chassis legs are straight most repairs aren't too bad as almost everything unbolt! :)
i have a grande punto t-jet and that has the plastic protection tray at the bottom of the engine and gear box also. You can bet that every time i do something on the engine i always drop a screw/ washer / clip or something down onto it. Then i have to jack the front end of the car up to remove the tray to retrieve the dropped item, NIGHTMARE!
Hello. First of all, thanks for the video. I have the same problem in my Punto 1.4 turbo Multiair, but definetlly I'll need to replace the vaccum pump since replacing the gasket was not enough. Can you share the vaccum pump part number? I've been having trouble to get the correct one since apparently there are different part numbers for each version of the Fiat 1.4 engines. As I said, mine is a turbo Multiair. Here more details hoping you may have a chance to help me: VIN: ZFADB3281D0916375 No. Per Ricambi: 0915972 Version: 199AXW1A 45C Thanks a lot!

Did I see a crack in the casting of the vacuum pump?
The old one? Possibly, I'll take another look tomorrow 👍
are the vacum pumps expensive to replace Phil I think fiat also made a stilo abarth aswell I think
The pump was just over £150
Are you still selling this? Please do let me know
It's gone bud 👍
👍🤓👍
Phil did you get that nut back of the under cover
I did mate yes 👍

What’s the transit Phil 👀👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁
8K no Vat wanna buy it , got another as well 😀
My impression is the bolts on the vacuum pump looked far too tight, which would have warped it previously.
Hey man...would you like to sell this car for me?
