A half in :50-plus does not inspire confidence that Fierceness is ready to run.
Todd Pletcher frequently works his horses a slow half-mile. That is his training style. I would not read much into it due to the Haskell being on July 20 and it is more than a month away. Fierceness has worked 49 seconds or slower a dozen times since last summer. He usually picks up the pace when they breeze five panels.

Maybe as far as results, but Sierra Leone is the most talented 3 year-old of the year so far.

@@mikeymutual5489 He's a great horse. His lugging in and bumping other horses is not ideal for "Horse Of The Year". I'm a a fan of SL just don't agree.
@@mikeymutual5489 the overseas horses sadly have surpassed our USA ones by a mile.. Sierra Leone needs to win the next race hes in to get the award... its a shallow pool
@@italianwaterice9594 My point is that he is the fastest horse, and has the most consistent finishes of any 3 year-old of the year. You can't make a case for any other 3 year-old, so why are you even responding?
