One way I’ve heard of sin being described is “its any identity we build that isn’t for God”. So sacrificing ourselves to God, I also think, is doing God’s will. God wants all glory for himself, like you said, so anything we do, like praise and worship can be hard to not take some credit for yourself. Same thing for anything we do for God must be done giving him all glory. I’m blanking on the emperor who used to have someone behind saying you’re only a man. Sometimes as Christian’s, we need that spiritual reminder to always remember we are just a vessel for Christ and we want none of the glory for ourselves. Good message! I used to live in Nashville for a while back in my heathen days lol. Glad you can get the message of Jesus to people in that area.
