This song reminds me of the time my momma sent me a video when I was back in college. I was away from home, and she sent me this. It really hits home. My mother passed almost 4 years ago. Literally teared up listening to this. She was telling me that she would always be with me, no matter where we were.

this is amazing!! I'm trying to learn it and I've actually learned most of it, but I was wondering, how do you do the percussive strumming? like it looks like you're flicking the strings with your fingers and I'm trying to learn it but it's pretty hard haha

So I downloaded the tabs and can play it pretty good but the one technique I can't get down it when you play the percussive hits with a note. When I watch I can see you do some sort of something when you do it but I can't figure out what you're doing.
Thanks man, have fun learning! Yeah it's a bit tricky but it's doable! As you hit the string with your left thumb (percussive sound), you flick your middle/ring finger into the string that you want to hit.
