Thanks man, and used an audio interface into reaper, did a bit of eq and compression and blended the camera audio into the percussive parts to make it pop, also pitch shifted the slap solo for the low B, wasn’t sure it was gonna work at first tbh
I'd recommend adding dynamics, now that you've built confidence in the ability to hit the notes. The first bars of your version were repeated the same. The first bars of the original song are not the same. Think about how you can be surprising within the first 8 bars. My two cents, for what it's worth.
PS: Michael Manring in Selene uses extended techniques that might be able to call back to the loon sound near the beginning of the original GOAT. He uses a hyperbass, but you might find some ideas in it.
that tapping is criminally good
The bass solo is so cool and creative
That percussion is sick! You're awesome!
the sound is so nice, dont know how you recorded this, but its just pleasure for ears.
your skills of course is also amazing keep it going

In my education on bass, an acoustic bass is an upright bass… didn’t know this was a thing
My boy, stop being so good man Im still trying to dominate your bloodmoon cover hahaha
this is really impressive stuff, keep it up!
Insane stuff ngl
Incredible work! Keep this up, you'll have a big following in no time
if you keep putting out videos you'll get a record deal or some gig work or something. criminally under rated.

What’s the reason of using an acoustic bass if you’re gonna plug it in to record
String noise doesn’t sound the best on it, still got the video file tbf

My old laptop with guitar pro 6 stopped working but I’ll start working on it as soon as I find a way as I’ve had multiple requests
