What I dislike in the Witcher 3 is that most of the alternative ways of doing the quests are available only through the player's mistakes. You feel shitty when you didn't manage to kill the wraiths in Bloody Baron quest, same with lifting the curse from spoon collector. Many players would just quick load and do the 'right' thing and never experience other outcomes.

That's the players fault, not the game.
That's how it is supposed to be
That's why Witcher 3 tries to do delayed consequences so the player is less likely to just quickly load their last save.
