I am totally fascinated by this place and have watched this vlog many times. So surreal. I would love to visit this place some time in the future (the lighting, ambience, and many other things!). What a wonderful vlog. I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas!
Thank you so much! It truly was an amazing experience! They usually hold exhibitions like this at Mifuneyama Rakuen in the summers, but TeamLab has a permanent exhibition space in Tokyo, so if you're ever in Japan at a time outside of summer, you should definitely go see them in Tokyo. It's not in a garden space, but from what I've heard, it is just as amazing! A merry Christmas to you and your family, too!
I think it is definitely worth seeing, but it would only take a little over an hour to see everything and since it doesn't start until dark, I would definitely get a hotel for at least that night and head back to Hiroshima the next day. In fact, I would consider maybe making it a weekend trip and checking out some of the other things in the area, if you're interested in that. 😊
I wish i could go... so beautiful~ Too bad my family always use tour guides when we go to Japan (which mostly only took you to tourist places) Do Japan have more english language signs now though? (esp. the train, really their train system is so complicated) I want to plan a trip there with my friend, but not confident with my kanji yet... (planning to go on our own so no tours) Thanks a lot for sharing this!! ☺️
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed my video! ☺️ There are lots of amazing places to see in Japan that are away from the main tourist spots! There are definitely more English signs, but depending on where you go, like out in the country, you might hardly see any. Google Maps has gotten a lot better and is really helpful with train routes and times. Another great app to use is Rome2Rio! You just tell it where you want to go, and it will show you all the possible ways to get there and how much each one would cost! Hyperdia.com is very accurate with train routes in Japan, and it was the website I relied on the most. Kanji is really difficult to learn! I think that I know less than 10 Kanji, and I was able to survive living in Japan for almost 2 years, so I think you'll be okay! Just keep studying! Google Translate is really great at helping you understand what a sign is trying to say. There's an option where you can take a picture of a sign, menu, etc. and then highlight the text you want to translate. It's not perfect, but at least it gives you a rough translation to help you understand! Also, Google Chrome will automatically translate websites for you when it can. Oh yeah, if you are planning to use the trains a lot to go to several different places, you should look at getting the JR Pass! It looks expensive up front, but if you are planning to use the train a lot over long distances while you're in Japan, it can save you quite a bit of money in the long run! Just make sure that it covers all the train lines you plan to take. I hope this all helps! Feel free to find me on social media and message me if you have any more questions! Have fun planning your trip!
I went there last year, they didn’t have lamp exhibition then but it was beautiful! And so humid also haha
yayoi You need to go see the lamps! It’s really cool! Thankfully, the weather wasn’t too hot when we went. 🙌
Beautiful!!!
Wow! Still haven’t gone here. Thanks for the preview!
Glad you liked it! You should definitely go see it! It was amazing!

@@LivingBlissed Thank you!
Is it worth making a day trip from Hiroshima or staying local for a night or so?

I didn't mean to post the same thing 5 times. I don't know what happened. My TH-cam just started glitching out! 😂
