@@tajci2202 She might have been refering to past experiences.
@@tajci2202it's still disgusting and predatory, so why are you belittling her experiences?
I never understood this “heroine chic”. It always looked creepy to me. I never cared about fashion brands and thought that rich people were ridiculous for paying so much or caring about being seen in brands.
So I remember being 17 and like we literally thought it was normal for 50 year old men to like buy boys and girls drinks give them bracelets etc
I was 17 in 91 and noone I knew thought that was normal. we had less understanding of grooming, but it still gave us the creeps. We knew the only kids whod let old men around them were the drug addict kids who'd grown up way too fast.
Uhm what??
It was common, but I always declined. I was never into older men, but I had plenty of friends who would flirt for drinks, yuck!
50 was older than Our Parents
I feel she had the MK ultra experience.i think she went thru a lot with the industry. They still do.Kate your still a beauty.
What isMK experience?
She is part
Not to mention I heard she's back on drugs which is sad seemed like she had gotten clean and sober
Kate moss didn’t seem upset…she literally seemed proud of her work….
true. iconic but creepy nonetheless.
It was not child pornography at the time?
Not back then, back then children could be naked.Brooke shields was 14 when she was completely naked and sexualised in blue lagoon
They always call it "art" or "advertising."
Up to then there was still a culture where nudity at younger ages were seen as normal
It wasn't always sexualised
I think it became like that a bit maybe around that time ?
But also the aspect of it being seen as natural was partly there
i mean the black and white type of imagery
little make up freckles not photoshopped blotches etc
@@Ritff666l-e9e It was always seen as perverted, and only perverts indulged in it.
The work you do on these videos. You should be higher in subs
Wow…. CK was so creepy, and he was clearly honing into the desires of men; that’s how any marketing strategy supposed to work I hope, post Me Too, we continue to improve the ways that we protect children from predictors.
The best protection against aids is to keep the calvins on I can’t
yeah cause they're so ugly that even an STD would have second thoughts about whether it wanted to come into contact with a host once it "claps" eyes on them shits. 😅😅
Crazy that I got a Calvin Klein ad on this
I remember the whole campaign from back in the day. Even then it was weird because she looked like a teenage girl. She was just too young to be portraying the sentient and mood of the campaign. People noticed the creepy element even back then, but powerful men, money hidden behind fashion and art got away with a lot. People noticed the cringe of it all though.
Why did mark Wahlberg have a blaccent???
he prolly tried to be cool. but he was always average loool
He was trying to be a rapper.
Same reason Kamala Harris puts her's on.
Thingy era Vanilla Ice
He was a wigga back in the day lol when he was a rapper when he became an actor he got rid of that accent real quick
Thank you for this, I never had a idea of all of this.
You would be surprised how many gay designers think the same way.Thats why the job is so hard. You have to deal with a lot of disturbed psychos.I always wondered what it is that makes them to monsters.Jealousy?!Of youth in general?Of a life they couldn't have and never will?Whatever it's toxic and all who manage to step out are lucky survivors🌞🥳
Yes they are
Mostly gays and they are into
Little boys that's why most female models look
Like boys
its only the fault of the parents, everyone else just saw an oppurtunity to make money and be creepy and did it as they do, but her parents have full responsability because how do you allow a 15 year old to take nude pictures
Where were her parents?
Getting their pockets filled
Our Generation grew up with less supervision
They sold her out
Little did I know....thank you for this docu...🌊🌊🌊🌊Just a freak glamorized by networking in circles of corrupt freaks...
Our beautiful Kate. ❤ I have been abused from childhood with shit hole phedos who they ruined my life differently!!! She ended up famous, I ended up messed up for life, struggling to survive. I love Kate, I am happy for her least she had something out of this terrible situations and that she wasn’t a baby child. Love you Kate, strong and beautiful ❤
A lot of the fashion industry was and still is perverted and creepy.
Nothings changed.
Kates mothers is to blame also.
She said herself her parents were very lenient and didn't care what she did
2:16 did he just say "this young thing"
does he stop himself from saying 'turned on' too?????
Yup!!!
It borders on/is child abuse.
No Calvin Klein no Kate Moss. No Kate Moss no Kalvin Klein.
Love your work so much, DOCU!
thanks for watching 🖤🖤🖤
Good heavens i thought that ad would never end
oh my goodness 🤭☠️
Old Men using innocence to sell their products, & pursuing them to be their girlfriends is sickening. Young Human Beings should be aloud to experience Life in general with a similar age group. Same with older Women attracting young boys it is truly disgusting 🤮
I'm so glad you covered this
Where was her mother?
Or father
Thank you for your videos Doku!
What a pervert.
How on earth did they get away with taking her first nude photos at 15?! That is shocking and so damaging for her mentally. 😢
Nudity was seen differently.
The minimum age for frontal nudity was 16 in the UK until 2003 so it _depends_ the laws of where they shot the pictures. PS I say _depends_ like that because models often shoot nudity (partial or frontal) while underage even now but onlya literal handful enough become famous enough for it to be a problem.
I feel like every model goes through this😢
We are discovering this was a prevalent thing in the back ground of our media, entertainment, music.
There was a whole commercial campaign with those creepy commercials. Kate wasn't the only one they had asking them to do creepy things. There was a campaign against it taking it off the air.
The real story is actually worse then this....
What’s the real story?
Yes do tell !
of course it is
Where were Kate's parents in all this?
I think they sold her out much like Naomi's mom
2:30 that’s disgusting.But even in 2024 the history showed us (Balenciaga scandal)that they wouldn’t get cancelled 😞
It made her career. It was so iconic at the time.
Child-women-thing… it‘s disgusting
He’s absolutely revolting.
OMG I love pop culture and I cant believe I did not know about this until now?? Calvin is sick, gross!! glad Kate came out of it all ok but damn that ¨commercial¨ wtfff sick
Klein corrected himself about 3 times deliberately edging for saying the unsayable. The creep was talking and signalling to other pdf creeps. In fact it was so obvious it's pathetic.
Très intéressant, indispensable ! Merci ❤
I wasn’t a progressive but gave a report about these images at the time at Art School and got push back by everyone including the female teacher that this is Capitalism. It’s her choice!
Calvin Klein was and is, boring.
Mario sorrenti is also part of club
This felt like watching a horror movie...
People talk about the pedos in the church but they should be talking about the pedos in the fashion industry, hollywood, social media..
They are?
They talk about them too 😂 and don’t forget the politicians/president
Childlike women attracts creeps 😂
Men in fashion are one of the weirdest.
Is that the same Marky Mark who keeps trying to pray with me?
2:22 - 2:51 "Kate has that quality of "child woman" thing, which turns...touches a nerve with m..men especially arhh.. that's..that's a always on the edge a little bit (bites his fingers). You hope to do something that stimulates people, that stimulates their imagination, arhh and then gets noticed" (c) Calvin Klein - Pretty much everything you need to know
CK was gay but still a predator. He went out with models, to pretend to be straight but he wasn’t.
Maybe he was bi
I have watched some of the Marc Jacobs perfume ads, still looks like they are still using very young girls.
We are complicit for buying into it the mags, clothes, perfume , which is toxic.
I try to avoid fashion as much as I can, it is a ridiculous industry.
I remember being asked if i'm a model etc and was told i should model It already disturbed me back then that models were seen as '' old '' by 23
I went to a model agency and they said i would have to lose weight. I was ALREADY ( naturally ) skinny. I thought they are NUTS and that '' I am not going to support this garbage ! ''
Wondered then why ANYONE would support that
Not to mention that Fashion is currently mass Culture Vulturism
( I went on to study Design )
That's so discusting i hope lola will have to speak a word on that
No matter how much I agree with people here, I also always have that «problem» with supply responding to demand. Where there is a demand, there will be supply/someone willing to supply it….
Did mark say “the best protection against aids is to keep the Calvin’s on” 😭
