Been trying to get these done for my 2007 Infiniti G35s sedan. Just took some spare ones to a shop down the street for me to see if they would know how to do it. They have the slightest clue. This is very much help that I will try and do on my own now and save money. #project 👏🏼

You can avoid having to cut the housing by putting it in the oven at 350°. Just be sure to remove the ballast first to avoid damaging it. You then simply (and carefully) pry it apart. I didn't know this prior to watching your video and just now learned it since I'm thinking of doing similar. Thanks for the video!
i thought he was crazy cutting these up. i haven't tried it on my tail g37 lights but i've separated many lenses from headlights and tail lights by baking them
With Gs taillights in general you can’t bake them in the oven, there plastic welded to the lens, I retrofit and always have to cut the tails. Headlights easily go in the oven.
Hey man, great video. Helped through a lot of the work. Although, I’m having a slight issue, all of my things work except they don’t turn on when the headlights are on. Turn signal, lock/unlock, brake all work fine. But they don’t run when the headlights are on. Does it have something to do with the extra yellow off of the drivers? I didn’t touch those. Thank you
You don't need the tails as turns modules. Sell em, and ditch them. You can wire directly to the OEM pigtails (ON/BRAKE/TURN) and will work fine. Maybe your issue is 1 driver trying to run 2 specific halos? Also, could just depin your wires, no need to cut unecessary holes. How is your seal? Why not use rubber buytl to seal those lights? Why ditch clear lens for halos? You recommend the 2 prime sizes for halo applications, however halo sizes can vary depending on application . FYI Halo sizes vary on build applications and builds can retain those clear OEM lens. All in all, thanks for the step by step and wish you the best
If you open the trunk section and paint the housing with the same paint it will be identical to the main tail section. A little more work but perfect results.
There is something you can buy that does that. You can find them on Amazon. Brake light strobe controller. They normally have the info on how to install it.
Hey got a question, currently working on a project doing the quad halo set up. I have the red halos going from black>to black Red> green , white> green and white And i have the switchback halos yellow> green with yellow and i have the black fused with the black from the red halos both going into the black from the oem harness. However when i brake the ambers turn on instead of the red. Any idea why? I only have black and yellow going to the harness.
I am really not sure. I know the coupe has a bit of concave that cuts into the lights so you wont get the full halo for the smaller halo light, you would have to do some cutting to get it to fit properly there. Hope you find a video that helps.
